Not long after, Ming Yue emerged from the bathroom. Wrapped in a bath towel, her body was still wet with a hint of shower gel aroma. She walked up to the closet, opened it, and slowly slid her fingers over a row of white s.h.i.+rts of different styles. These were Huo Yunting’s s.h.i.+rts. But she did not intend to let him wear any of these; she wanted to strip him. With this l.u.s.tful thought in mind, Ming Yue began to feel hot inside and could not wait for Huo Yunting to return.

She took off her bath towel and put on one of the s.h.i.+rts. The bottom barely covered her hips, thus revealing her slender legs below. Her alluring body, faintly discernible under the s.h.i.+rt, would drive every man crazy, wis.h.i.+ng to take a glimpse of what lay underneath. Just after she b.u.t.toned down the s.h.i.+rt, the sound of the door opening could be heard outside. Was it Huo Yunting? In heightened antic.i.p.ation, she walked out in an alluring posture.

Huo Yunting had just returned from a marathon meeting. Feeling tired, he flung himself in the chair to catch some shuteye.

The door of the lounge swung open as Ming Yue emerged in only a s.h.i.+rt on her body. Seeing Huo Yunting, she grinned. Her steps were as light as feathers. She came up quietly and leaned close to him, calling out with a s.e.xy voice, “Dear…”

Huo Yunting, who was still awake, opened his eyes. His face turned dour upon seeing Ming Yue. “Why are you here?” He noticed that she was wearing his s.h.i.+rt—and that was the only fabric on her body. It was not hard to guess what it looked like under the neckline. Water dripping down the hair was the perfect foil for her flirtatious appearance, making Ming Yue look even more enticing. But Huo Yunting was not bothered.

Yet, Ming Yue thought that no man could have refused her especially when she was dressed like this. “I am here to see you.” She wrapped her hands around Huo Yunting’s neck and rested her head on his chest as she climbed on top of him.

Huo Yunting did not turn a hair. Just as he was about to push her away, someone knocked on the door and as the door swung open, Lu Zhaoyang appeared.

“Mr. President…” the scene of a woman, wet from head to toe, riding on top of Huo Yunting, appeared before her. Lu Zhaoyang recognized the woman’s face; it was Huo Yunting’s girlfriend, Ming Yue. For a second, Lu Zhaoyang did not know how to react. Not wanting to disturb the two of them, she quickly closed back the door. But she still stood outside, unable to move or breathe.

“Lu Zhaoyang, where are you going?” Seeing her leaving without even looking back, Huo Yunting pushed Ming Yue away. The cold shoulder for the past few days aside, Lu Zhaoyang did not even utter a word even when she saw this. Huo Yunting rushed out to chase after her, determining to ask her why she was avoiding him.

Ming Yue stumbled back a few steps before regaining her balance. Her chest heaved with emotion watching Huo Yunting dumping her for another woman. Unwilling to concede defeat, she stepped out but only to see Huo Yunting grabbing Lu Zhaoyang back in.

“Don’t touch me! Let me go!” Lu Zhaoyang tried to fling Huo Yunting’s hand away but she still could not move her feet a bit.

“I will let you go after I’ve proved my innocence.” Huo Yunting stared into her eyes. “You don’t trust me?”

Seeing is believing. When a woman dressed like that—or rather the lack of dress—and was wet from head to toe, did it look like nothing had happened between them?
