“Wh- Ugh!” Yan Se almost choked herself. She coughed out the pieces, “Wew. It’s blowing hard out there. That’s why that little fire inside you burns eh? You wanna get blown hard?”

Yan Se picked up her phone beeping on the table and launched the navigation system. She observed the blinking red spot moving along the road on the map.

Yup, the car was installed with a tracker but she was not the patient kind of person who would watch something moving inch by inch every second. The Discovery Channel showed commentary on mating carnivorous animals. The beeping was distracting.

“He should arrive at his girl’s place anytime by now.” The beeping continued. She couldn’t help but pa.s.s a glance upon the phone—the car was still moving, speeding up too. “The heck?” She seized the phone and took a look on Lu Bai’s location.

“He’s been a homehogger since forever. Where the h.e.l.l does he pick his chick? Tinder?” The location shocked her, “Holy Matrimony, he’s heading to the rural area now?” The more she thought of the situation, the more distressed she got. She sighed, “I better go check him out. Just in case he got cheated and left naked at the bushes.” She switched off the television, picked up her keys and sprinted to the porch.

In the meantime, Lu Bai managed to pick up Wen He after a 30-minute drive.

“What are you doing?” Lu Bai was annoyed by how Wen He still had the leisure to put on her makeup.

“Well, excuse me.” She put on her lipstick, “I haven’t met Old Jiu for a long time. Obviously, I would give him a nice smooch on his face after taking him out. What do you know about business etiquette?” She made a pop on her lips and she tossed the lipstick to the backseat after having a good look in the mirror. She exhaled loudly as she fell upon her seat.

The adrenaline was boiling inside her as she thought about the fight later.

“Yes.”

“Okay! I really think you’ll be a great leader if we still have an organization. Boss is going to be very proud of you.” Wen He looked through the window as drizzles came falling and the wind wailing. The organization was a family for her all along—and it was gone.

“What? I thought you’ve been preparing to rise again for the past 4 years you’ve been missing?” Said Lu Bai with eyes on the road.

“H-e-l-l-o, if I’m rich as you, of course. But well—maybe not. I had enough gambling in my life, playing mind games with people. It’s time to take a break. I really wish I could—like what Boss said before—to live my life like an ordinary folk,” she said sentimentally, observing the splashes on her window before looking at Lu Bai, “We will leave after we save Old Jiu. And we will never come back here after this. Remember to join us after you’ve finished your work—or better, we will go together immediately after this!”

“Alright, we’ll see.”

“Oh, you still have that girl right? If you really liked her and she’s okay with the plan, bring her along! I also look forward to the day you run your own family.”

“Uhh—I think you’ve misunderstood something. That was an accident. I don’t have anybody.”

“Well, you’ll at least have money,” muttered Wen He, looking at her watch. Her eyes were hostile.
