“I will never help you if it means Zhaoyang will be in danger. Forget it. I will not help you and I will save Ol’ Jiu!” Said Lu Bai with l.u.s.trous eyes firmly.

“Bai! Just go! Forget about saving me!” Chen Jiu walked down to stand and spread his arms before Lu Bai as he shouted at Xiang Jinxi, “Your target is Lu Zhaoyang, huh? What’s your deal with her?”

Chen Jiu had been locked away from the world the whole time. It was only natural for him to be unaware of the stories between the two of them.

“Nah. Not exactly Lu Zhaoyang. I just want to destroy Thunderbolt Corp.”

“Anyone who visits Bischofia is my guest. A wine on the house for the two guests.” She stopped before Xiang Jinxi and gave a glance at the gun in Lu Bai’s grip, “Jinxi, they are guests after all. Wouldn’t it sound a little bad if we don’t invite them for a few drinks at the lounge but launch weapons at them instead?”

“I don’t think they’ll last to have a sip,” said Xiang Jinxi as he surveyed the thin straps over Qiu Jin’s shoulders, “Just leave.”

“What’s the tantrum? Calm down, have a sip.” She got nearer and took a sip before pa.s.sing the gla.s.s to Xiang Jinxi who was glancing at his bodyguards. “Heroes are deemed on the right timing.” She pa.s.sed a look at the gentlemen behind her, “So be smart and grab the gla.s.s before they are smashed.”

And she left.

The gla.s.s shook vigorously in Xiang Jinxi’s grip and a tiny splash of wine tainted the floor red as his voice rang grimly, “Thunderbolt Corp. The day after tomorrow. Are you going, Lu Bai?”

“When he said ‘no’, it means no!” Chen Jiu shouted before Lu Bai with a hideous glare at Xiang Jinxi.

No way I’ll let Bai send himself to our nemesis! If anything happens, not even the president’s relative could save Bai! Boss will never forgive me for this!

Xiang Jinxi dropped the gla.s.s and pulled out a silver gun with the muzzle aimed right at Chen Jiu’s other leg, “Dear Lu Bai, sooner or later, your big brother will be moving on a wheelchair as you hesitated.”
