Wen He’s legs gave way as she fell into his embrace. She buried her head in his chest and started to rub against him.

Her unnatural reaction made Huo Chen stop in his tracks. He lifted her head and looked at her closely.

Her face blushed as it did before, but now it was tinged with l.u.s.t.

Huo Chen understood immediately what had happened and lifted her up. He carried her in his arms and stepped into the elevator to go upstairs.

When they reached their floor and exited the elevator, Wen He’ high heels fell to the ground. She reached an arm to his s.h.i.+rt and slowly fingered her way inside.

“So hot… I feel so hot…”

Huo Chen tensed up and walked even faster.

Finally, it was only the two of them in the room. Wen He was feeling the effects of the drug and started to tug his s.h.i.+rt, but she could not unb.u.t.ton him.

She gave up and started to take off her own clothes instead.

Huo Chen looked down when he heard the sound and saw that Wen He’s chest was exposed as she tore her dress open.

He quickly looked away and before she could try for the hundredth time to sneak her hand underneath his clothes, he dumped her into the tub.

Huo Chen turned on the top and started to fill up the bathtub.

“Huo Chen… Huo Chen…” She stood up shakily and tried to lean against him.

Huo Chen avoided her and reached for the showerhead. He closed his eyes and directed the water toward her.

“Oh…”

Wen He shuddered as she stood in the tub. It felt so cold, yet so hot…

Cold water continued to spray on her body. She could not even open her eyes.

After half an hour, when Wen He had gone hoa.r.s.e from crying and felt weak as a kitten, Huo Chen turned off the water from the showerhead.

“How do you feel?” He asked softly and with concern.

“Achoo!”

Wen He sneezed and felt a ringing in her head.

Her body temperature had fallen, but she still felt warm inside her, albeit not as severe as before.

She looked up blearily at Huo Chen, who still had his eyes shut, and then looked down at her naked body. Abruptly, she reached for him and put her arms around his neck.

“Do you want to freeze me to death? Don’t you know how to care for a lady?”

Huo Chen remembered seeing where the towel was when he came in. He reached for it and wrapped her up before he opened his eyes and carried her out of the bathroom.

“Watch where you’re touching.” He frowned when he saw her hand on his chest.

“Your s.h.i.+rt is wet.” He must have gotten wet from spraying her in the bathroom.

“I’m fine.”

Huo Chen put her down on the bed and brushed past her hand as he did.

She still felt burning hot.

He reached to touch Wen He’s forehead and found that she was feverish.

“Are you feeling better?” It seemed that the effects of the drug were not all gone yet.

“I want you…”

Wen He swore inside that she was feeling exactly that.

He asked for it, so he cannot blame her!

Huo Chen was surprised, but quickly recovered. He stepped away from the bed, away from dangerous territory, and then he took out his phone and called for a doctor.

When he was done, he turned back to see her getting out of bed. The towel wrapped around her was not fastened properly, so it promptly slid off her when she stood up and exposed every inch of her skin to him.
