“But…” Mr Lin looked up as his voice stiffened, “The news I got is different.”

As she said that, she ran up the stairs.
“It’s late, stay for the night!” Mrs Lin looked worriedly at her husband before shouting towards the stairs.

Someone was knocking the door.
