A series of laughter rang out around them.

“Sir, yes sir!” The reply this time around, was loud and in unison.

“I’ll give you a chance, you’ll go up against her, and anyone that could beat here, earns everyone else a half-day leave!”

In truth, he only wanted to give Wen He something to do.

“Sir, the three of us against a lady, isn’t it…too much for her?”

Their pride would not allow them to win so easily!

“Are you looking down on me? My marksmans.h.i.+p was trained by your officer here, looking down on me means you’re doubting him!”

Wen He raised her chin, and said proudly, “Who’s first?”

As they cheerfully discussed among themselves who should go, Wen He stealthily elbows Huo Chen’s arm.

“You want them to get that leave or not?”

Huo Chen replied. “Show them what you are capable of. You don’t have to hold back, whether they can get that leave is up to their own ability.”

This was a lesson for them underestimating their opponent.
