Wen He’s eyes were pleading for rescue, “Save me!”
He snorted, “You can actually smile properly when you are in plight.” He then looked at Huo Chen, “General Huo is the hero of Country Z. He would not hurt an innocent like you. Plus, Wen He is my girlfriend. I don’t think a self-righteous General like General Huo would do shameless things like s.n.a.t.c.hing somebody else’s girlfriend, right?” His tone was flat yet his words were offensive as ever.
Wen He’s eyes jerked towards him in bewilderment.

Huo Chen’s eyes turned dimmer as he grimly replied, “Mister Gu, I think there’s a misunderstanding here. Allow me to provide you some information here – Wen He is my *wife*. A legally certified wife of mine.”
