“Where are you going?”

“Why did you switch it off?” He looked at the iPad and asked unhappily.

“The movie ended. Do you want to watch anything else?”

She had turned off the display just now. When Huo Yunting reactivated the screen, it showed the end credits running.

“No!”

The movie was only for him to pa.s.s time.

He did not sleep well last night, probably because she was not beside him. That was why he woke up so early this morning.

His forehead still throbbed with pain, so he watched a movie to distract himself.

“Then I’m going inside. Let me know if you need anything.” She had not taken anything since she woke up, and standing in the hot weather for so long had worn her out.

“If you’re a woman, I won’t even let you get near me. Now leave!”

He would not have a woman who was a chatterbox around him. That would be insufferable.

“Yes, yes, yes…” Huo Li picked up his med kit and left the office as he whistled to a tune.

Huo Yunting sat in his office and did not feel like doing anything. Lu Zhaoyang was just a few doors away. All he needed to do was ask her about the man.

She would probably keep mum about it, however. That person must be as important to her as Xue Yuming.

She married him because of Xue Yuming, but she may also push him away because of that man.
