The Cursing Sect was the most famous Ant.i.theism Sect in King of Pantheon. They wors.h.i.+pped the Evil G.o.d. They believed that the Pantheons were the fallen ones and only the Evil G.o.d was the one and only true G.o.d.

The monsters from the Cursing Sect looked very similar as they covered their faces under the robes. They could only be differentiated through the color of the robes and their heights.

The ones in the red robes were the lowest level monsters. The blue ones were the elites and the green ones were rather rare. The ones in white or black robes were bosses.

The Curse Land was filled with curse spells that had been placed by the Cursing Disciples. One would lose its ability to enter combat once the players stepped onto them. This was the reason why Li Yi did not choose to fight this place alone.

Li Yi warned sternly. “Be careful of the green dots floating on the ground. Don’t step on it or…”

“Or else what?” Wutong sisters asked in unison.

“Boom!”

Li Yi who was walking at the front was shrouded by a ball of black smoke and his body was instantly shrunk down to the size of a thumb.

Li Yi then sighed helplessly. “Or else you’ll become like me…”

“Where is he? Where, where? What the f*ck! Master is only an inch tall!” Zimu Wutong covered her mouth exaggeratedly.

“This is the Shrinking Curse Spell. It lasts for 30 minutes and my ATK will be decreased by 100 times in this state. The Light Priest’s Level 35 skill Purification, Apothecary’s Gigantified Potion, and the Sky Vagabond’s Cleanse can be used to dispel it…”

“That means we can’t dispel it at the moment? This is fun.”

Zimu Wutong grabbed the tiny Li Yi up, placed him in her palm and poked at him with her fingers…

“Stop fooling around!”

Li Yi was furious.

“What should we do now?” Fire Ice asked.

“Continue moving forward. Be cautious and try not to step on the curse spells or encounter the monsters.”

Fire Ice cried out in surprise just as Li Yi finished speaking. Her body was engulfed by a cloud of white smoke and her body was instantly expanded, turning into a giant that spanned at least twenty meters high…

Feeling hopeless, Li Yi sighed again. “That’s the Gigantified Curse Spell. It lasts for half an hour and aggro is increased by 100%. Your attack speed is reduced by 100% as well…”

“An attack from the disciples! Drive them away!”

The aftereffect of Fire Ice being gigantified was that her aggro had been increased by 100%. This had caused countless Cursing Disciples to rush towards them. Hundreds of Red Robes and Blue Robes with a Green Robe mixed among them came charging.

“Retreat!”

Li Yi shouted at the top of his lungs, waking the three girls from their daze as they turned about and ran away.

As Fire Ice’s body had expanded greatly, her moving speed had increased tremendously despite the reduction of her attack speed. She had escaped out of the Curse Land in just two to three steps.

Li Yi, who was stuck in between Zimu Wutong’s hands felt rather helpless.

The Cursing Disciples had stopped attacking them once they were out of the Curse Land. However, the Wutong sisters did not come out unscathed as they were cursed with at least three to four curse spells such as Weakening Spell, Blinding Spell, Silence Spell…

“Although the Cursing Disciples has weak ATK, their curse spells are extremely annoying. You guys… should understand that by now.”

The Wutong sisters and Fire Ice nodded their heads in unison.

The Battle Tactic Li Yi had planned out earlier had failed due to this encounter.

He wanted to obtain two treasure maps without alerting any monsters. His quest was only considered a success only when he had killed the two black and white bosses.

It seemed that that plan was no longer possible.

The entire area was covered with green floating curse spells and the Disciples would be all over them the moment they accidentally stepped onto one. They were fortunate that they had alerted the monsters the moment they entered the area as all of them definitely would not be able to survive if they were discovered in the heart of the Curse Land.

“We will clear the path ourselves after half an hour!” Li Yi decided to come up with a new plan.

Zimu Wutong pushed Li Yi with her finger. “Little brother, what item does the black and white bosses drop? Why must we fight them?”

“Stop fooling around!” Li Yi jumped down from Zimu Wutong’s palm as he continued. “The black and white bosses will drop a lot of unique items. One of the most valuable items is the Curse Scroll.”

“What is a Curse Scroll?” Zimu Wutong was still in the dark.

“Since we’re just loitering around, all of you should search it up on the internet. I need to calm down for a while…” Li Yi did not wish to explain any further. The best solution when facing a possible progression of unending questions was to change the subject and not answer them.

Fire Ice walked out a distance alone and sat on the ground.

There was not much change as her body turned bigger. However, the problem was that the Priest’s robe that she wore was neither too long nor too short. Hence, if she were to lower her head or move around, she would most likely have a wardrobe malfunction…

The Curse Land was truly one of the most disgusting regions.

In Li Yi’s past life, he had attempted to solo this place before as the black and white bosses would drop some very useful and unique items. However, he had ultimately failed.

Each curse spells came with different frustrations, leaving him unable to perform as a Thief. His Stealth would be instantly seen through and he would be cursed if he were to force his way through. When he had reached the black and white bosses, he tragically realized that the Thief cla.s.s would not be able to clear these two bosses alone.

Li Yi had never set foot in the Curse Land ever since.

It did not matter to Li Yi whether to dig out the two treasure maps. However, the black and white bosses must be killed in order to successfully clear the Death of a King Instance Dungeon!

“I don’t understand a single thing after reading for so long.” Zimu Wutong returned.

“Same.” Qingshui Wutong felt the same as Zimu Wutong.

Half an hour had pa.s.sed and the curse spells cast on them had disappeared, returning their status to normal.

“Let’s clear the path!”

The Cursing Disciples would take at least an hour to resp.a.w.n. The elites and boss would resp.a.w.n in between three to five days.

Li Yi summoned out the Mutated Little Wild Boar and the latter led the way into the Curse Land.

His pulling strategy was simple. He would let the Mutated Little Wild Boar probe the path and when it spotted a Cursing Disciple, Li Yi would cast Mislead on Qingshui Wutong while Li Yi attacked from behind.

While the Cursing Disciple did not have a high ATK, its HP was quite high. Despite Li Yi having an overwhelmingly powerful ATK, he could only deal about 500+ damage towards them. The Wutong sisters were unable to break into the hundreds with their attacks.

The Mutated Little Wild Boar would move forward and step onto the curse spells without hesitation. Its body would occasionally turn small, big, old and green…

Being the main tanks, the Wutong sisters followed Li Yi’s Battle Tactics where they would take turns to tank the monsters. This was to prevent them all from being affected by the curse spells at the same time and cause further delay.

“If you’re inflicted with the Gigantified Curse Spell, retreat immediately. The others are fine as long as we move forward slowly.”

The Cursing Disciples were stationed very far apart and it was not dangerous as long as they were not affected by the curse spell which granted 100% aggro. It was an easy task as long as the main tank tanked against two to three monsters.

“Stop!”

Li Yi shouted. He took out the blue treasure map and walked a few steps forward.

There were two blue-robed elite Cursing Disciples in front of him and the excavation point shown on the blue treasure map was directly beneath them.

One must not a.s.sume that the location shown on the treasure map was random as the reality was that the high-level treasure map would show a treasure that was harder to dig out.

Two elite monsters were no easy task.

Li Yi pondered for a moment before gathering the three women to the front and discussed the Battle Tactic.

Li Yi cast Mislead onto the Mutated Little Wild Boar, shot out an arrow and let it play dead.

The Mislead was successful as the blue robe elite that was shot came towards them. The other elite was not aggro-ed at all as it stood there in a silly manner.

Li Yi then activated the special skill from the Fiery Boot and pulled some distance away quickly, pulling the two blue robe elites apart.

Zimu Wutong and Qingshui Wutong rushed forward at the same time and took on one blue robe elite on their own.

It was impossible to kill these two Blue Robes independently as the other would come and support it when one of them had its HP lower than 10%. They could not let them be too close to each other as well as they would have an additional buff on them where they would constantly recover their health. If their attack was not high enough, they would easily die under their endless curse spells.

Li Yi consumed an Intermediate-level Fury Potion and his Crit Rate had instantly increased by 20%. In addition to the Archer’s innate Crit Rate, he was able to shoot out one critical attack out of three shots.

The blue robe elite Cursing Disciples had a HP of 50,000. Their ATK was average and they were good at casting a powerful curse spell that could constantly decrease the players’ HP. However, it was nothing to fear when they had a Priest in the party. One Holy Blessing and their HP will be fully recovered.

It was an incredibly easy task for Fire Ice to heal both main tanks at the same time.

It all depended on Li Yi’s output.

Crippling Shot, Rapid Shooting, Chain Arrow Skill…

The Wutong sisters would glow red and green alternatively and their ATK was almost depleted due to all sorts of curse spells. Fortunately, the Vile Tongue Stake that was equipped by Qingshung Wutong had an overpowered attribute that was able to compensate for her insufficient damage output.

If the Vile Tongue Stake did not have a Level 15 limitation, it would have been a divine weapon cla.s.s item as it had an effect of reducing its target HP by 1% constantly. It was more effective when the monster had more HP. Unfortunately, it had a Level 15 limitation. It was on par with a divine weapon when used against bosses below Level 40 but a useless weapon if used against a boss above Level 40.

The level of the monsters in the Curse Land was very uniform. All of the monsters, ranging from the red-robe to white-robe Cursing Disciples were all Level 40.

The Vile Tongue Stake was very handy here and it was also one of the reasons why Li Yi had decided to fight the black and white bosses.

“Long live the Evil G.o.d! Long live the Evil G.o.d!”

The blue robe Cursing Disciple whose HP was less than 2000 raised its hands up high and screamed. It muttered as it started chanting a weird curse…

“Ah…”

The blue robe elite Cursing Disciple opened its arms wide and hugged Qingshui Wutong tightly. This had caused the little loli to scream immediately.

Naturally, it had its reason that the Cursing Sect was called an evil sect. The disciples were not afraid of death and felt no fear. When their HP had dropped to a certain level, it would often use an extreme method to sacrifice itself along with the players…

All of the Cursing Disciples that appeared before the boss would self-destruct. They would not be able to loot their bodies if they were not able to kill it before they self-destructed.

Then, they quickly turned around to focus on the other blue robe elite. Li Yi was much more cautious this time as he left all of his burst skills to the very end in case the blue robe elite decided to sacrifice itself.

“Long live the Evil G.o.d! Long live the Evil G.o.d!”

“Long live your mother!”

Li Yi consumed a bottle of Fury Potion as soon as he saw the blue robe elite raise its hands up high. He started to shoot rapidly and cast Crippling Shot and Chain Arrow Skill!

“Whoos.h.!.+ Whoos.h.!.+ Whoos.h.!.+”

Li Yi managed to kill the blue robe elite before it was able to finish chanting its curse!

Zimu Wutong searched its body and four of them had received a notification. [Your party member has obtained a Curse Book from the blue robe Cursing Disciple.]
