The Evil G.o.d’s Notebook recorded the beginning and the end of the fall of the Evil G.o.d. As it turned out, from the very beginning, this Great Evil G.o.d was originally a War G.o.d of Light on Mount Pantheon. Although the Evil G.o.d was imprisoned in an alternate dimensional plane with no hopes of escape, he could still communicate with his loyal believers and grant them power, allowing them to strengthen the Cursing Sect. Then, using the power of their faith, they might be able to rescue the Evil G.o.d from his prison.

Those were the contents written in the Evil G.o.d’s Notebook. Of course, there was still much more text at the end, but those were just added in later by extremist believers. As compared to the true writings of the Evil G.o.d, the lack of authenticity was laughably blatant.

To any player who had finished reading the Evil G.o.d’s Notebook, the system would automatically give them the continuation quest [Investigate the Cursed Secret Place].

“Why have you stopped?” Little Elf from the Magical Realm asked.

“Cursing Sect quest, I need to head to the Cursed Secret Place.”

“Then let’s go, I don’t have anything better to do now anyway.”

“How strange.” Li Yi shot Little Elf from the Magical Realm a few glances before shaking his head and continued forward.

“What’s strange?” Little Elf from the Magical Realm caught up to him.

“It’s nothing…”

Little Elf from the Magical Realm’s heart sank.

She hated people who talked about things halfway the most. She glared daggers at Li Yi.

“I was just wondering, don’t you have a kid? How do you still manage to log in so many hours in-game? Who’s looking after the kid?”

“We have a nanny at home. Hmm hmm.” Little Elf from the Magical Realm rolled her eyes at him.

Li Yi sweated in embarra.s.sment.

The two continued to move. In an hour, they arrived safely at the Cursed Altar.

The Cursed Altar was under attack. A party with over two hundred players had surrounded the black and white bosses and were fighting all-out. Numerous players continuously fell, but they were continuously revived. This went on repeatedly, it looked like quite an intense battle.

“Don’t head over yet.”

Li Yi pulled Little Elf from the Magical Realm back and hid in an inconspicuous corner.

To think that there were people fighting the black and white bosses, that was not even a possibility that crossed Li Yi’s mind when he came here.

However, it was obvious that this group had no clue about how to fight this boss. It did not matter if you were in a raiding party or not, as long as any player was near the black and white bosses, for every additional player, either dead or alive, the bosses’ HP and ATK cap would automatically increase by 500,000 points. With more than two hundred party members, what absurd level of HP and ATK would the bosses even have?

The white boss Margaret mumbled a slew of chants, instantly summoning more than 500 yellow-robed monsterlings onto the field. Margaret once again started chanting. Instantly, 500 more yellow-robed monsterlings appeared once more, latching on to players and self-destructing…

Out of the two hundred plus people, none were left standing. All of them lay flat on the ground, not a single one attempted to revive themselves.

“The power that the Evil G.o.d blessed us with, it is not something you people can match!”

The black and white bosses locked hands and walked towards the altar, once again kneeling in front of the Evil G.o.d Statue, earnestly praying.

After a while, the two hundred people started reviving one after another, stealthily retreating from the black and white bosses’ sight. They gathered in a corner and started discussing the strategy to best tackle these bosses.

“There’s no way. The more we fight, the more their HP increases, how can anyone beat them?”

“Yeah, once the yellow-robed monsterlings come out, the aggro turns into a mess. There’s no way our tanks can pull all their aggro. Once you get latched on to, you’ll definitely die within two booms.”

These people sat on the ground and discussed for a long time, but they still did not manage to deduce the correct method of tackling these bosses.

“I noticed that the bosses’ HP cap was constantly changing, did you guys see it? The two bosses’ total HP increased to 1,000,000 points, then suddenly dropped down to 500,000 points right after.”

At this point other than Tyrannic Dynasty which had not officially joined the game, the other two guilds’ development was quite decent, especially Star Fire guild whose numbers grew day-by-day. Currently, they were already the largest guild by member count within the Eastern Continent.

In contrast to Star Fire guild, the War G.o.d Clan was a lot more low-key. You would not see them getting any first boss kills or any other similar achievements, but they had always been steadily following the footsteps of the frontliners, steadily and safely growing.

The War G.o.d Clan guild leader and Out of Print’s relations.h.i.+p were similar to that of Star Fire guild’s Yang Xingchen and I Love Beast Beast. They had a decades-old friends.h.i.+p, so even if he admired this guy’s talent, he had no choice but to give up their bond.

The battle between the War G.o.d Clan and the black and white bosses raged once more. Out of Print and Nameless War G.o.d aggroed one boss each, splitting them apart from each other.

With only eight people fighting the boss, the pressure fell exponentially, but the black and white bosses’ Berserk Mode was still extremely terrifying. It was still manageable at the beginning, but once their HP dwindled down to around 500,000 points, their Berserk Mode attacks would begin.

Margaret chanted non-stop, summoning countless monsterlings, whilst Maseru waved his hand, using the Trinity AoE Curse Spell. Even when Li Yi first brought his party to fight them, this kind of never-ending attacks that did not allow the players to even catch a break completely wiping out their party, let alone these bunch of players at their current level…

“Bam bam bam bam…”

With a combination of the yellow-robed monsterlings and the Trinity Curse Spells, they caused a consecutive chain of explosions, causing all eight players to drop to the ground.

“This is impossible to beat, these b.a.s.t.a.r.ds are way too overpowered.” Out of Print sounded quite frustrated.

Once the black and white bosses once again returned to the Evil G.o.d Altar, the eight of them revived and retreated.

“Our strategy is still wrong.” Nameless War G.o.d was deep in thought.

“Maybe we need to reduce our numbers even more? But if we do that, there’s no way we could have enough attacking power.”

After Nameless War G.o.d deliberated for a long time, he finally nodded, “Looks like these bosses isn’t something we can beat.”

“We’re giving up? The losses this time would be huge.” Out of Print sighed.

“What else can we do? Unless we can somehow get our hands on the recordings of Dark Wing defeating the black and white bosses… Forget it, dismissed.”

Out of Print went thoughtfully silent for a moment, before saying, “I partied with Dark Wing before. If I ask him, do you think he’ll tell me the strategy?”

“Definitely not,” answered Nameless War G.o.d and Out of Print in unison.

“Who knows…” added Li Yi in his mind.

Nameless War G.o.d patted Out of Print’s shoulder, “Let’s go, worst come to worst we could just buy it out of him. If we could manage to buy the recording for their Dwarf King raid, we could probably buy others as well.”

The eight of them waved their Return City Stones and disappeared from the Curse Land.

“I’m done with my dinner, have they left yet?” Little Elf from the Magical Realm came back online.

Li Yi answered with a short “mm-hmm” before sending Pretty Good Mood a message.

Using Curse Scrolls to fight bosses was something that would be common knowledge eventually, but Li Yi was not fixated over that. For a good party, all members needed to be of one mind. Back then, Pretty Good Mood had already made it clear, every member was to delete their recordings of the battle with the Dwarf King. However, in the end, the War G.o.d Clan still managed to buy a copy.

“Whoever did it, come fess up right now!”

” Piece of sh*t ¹ , if I find out who did this, I will never forgive them.” Pretty Good Mood was enraged.
