Lonely Semi City did not come here to Black Wind Valley just to farm levels. Just like Li Yi, he was always here for an Epic-level Cla.s.s Quest. Compared to Li Yi, however, he was much more unfortunate. He had spent more than ten whole days wandering Black Wind Valley without finding Blackbeard’s descendant.

The two of them formed a party and headed toward the depths of Black Wind Valley. The purple-named Epic-level boss, Zangila, was hiding there.

Li Yi looted Blackbeard’s descendant and obtained a gold-colored DPS bracer for Warriors. Although it was not particularly valuable, it could still make up for some of the potion costs.

“I don’t want anything else. All the drops can go to you, I just wanna complete my quest.” Those were Lonely Semi City’s exact words when they formed a party.

“That’s unfair to you, though.” As Li Yi said that, he changed the loot option to Master Loot. He had no relations.h.i.+p with Lonely Semi City at all, so he had no intention of giving way.

“Yo-ho, yo-hey! Move, my most loyal followers!”

Deep within Black Wind Valley, the Apothecarist Zangila did flips as he moved from one corpse to another, splas.h.i.+ng a green potion on each of them.

One after the other, the corpses got up. Some became zombies, others skeletons, and some even became spirits straight away because the potion had failed.

Zangila was dressed in the Cursing Sect’s black clothes. This symbolized his position in the Cursing Sect and showed that he was at the same level as the black and white bosses.

Although Li Yi had the Cursing Sect Outfit, it had no effect whatsoever on Zangila. The reason behind that was very simple. This bouncy, prancing apothecarist before them had long since been driven mad by his own potions. Right now, he only knew how to do one thing, and that was to constantly create loyal followers.

“Hoooowl—”

The corpses that had just become undead roared furiously, holding Zangila as they bit and chewed away. Just like the other undead around Black Wind Valley, the undead that Zangila created would not listen to anyone’s orders, not even Zangila himself.

“You b*stards, I’m your creator! You can’t treat me like this!”

Zangila lost his temper. Taking out a red-colored potion, he splashed it around. Purple Epic-level world bosses were extremely rare. Players could mostly meet green- and gold-colored bosses. Purple-colored bosses were common enough in dungeons, but they were hard to find in the wild.

Zangila had 15,000,000HP, and his green poison covered the whole area. He used his red poison randomly, and his ATK was extremely high as well. He moved by doing flips.

His SPD was extremely high. If one did not know how to defeat him, just meeting him would guarantee total annihilation, regardless of how many people were facing him.

Unlike the black and white bosses, who had more HP with every additional party member, Zangila had another buff called Blood Poison s.h.i.+eld. Its effect was to reflect 10% of the damage taken back to his enemy while also constantly reducing the HP of everyone around him.

Lonely Semi City went all the way up to Level 100 before he shook his head. “As soon as the battle starts, we have to use a killer move to destroy that Blood Poison s.h.i.+eld. Otherwise, even if he can’t hit us, we’ll still automatically lose HP until we die.

“Here, drink this before we start. It’ll raise your DPS slightly.” Lonely Semi City gave Li Yi 5 bottles of Intermediate Fury Potion through trading.

“Did you buy this?” Li Yi smiled, accepting the potions.

“They were expensive as f*ck. The Auction House only had one set and each bottle cost 30 Gold Coins. The fella selling ’em is h.e.l.la greedy.”

“Urk…” Li Yi wiped the sweat off his brow.

Right now, he was probably the only person in King of Pantheon who could make Intermediate Fury Potions.

Lonely Semi City walked forward slowly. “I’ll go first and you follow behind. Remember to attract the boss’ attacks, I can’t move for at least 10 seconds after using my killer move.”

“Rest a.s.sured!” Li Yi nodded.

Lonely Semi City raised his staff up high and started to chant an ancient incantation. His body began to float slowly, rising until he was levitating in mid-air.

Li Yi did not understand those incantations, and even the spellcaster Lonely Semi City himself did not understand them. However, he had no choice. When he was about to activate any Forbidden Spells, these ancient incantations would just leap out of his mouth automatically.

“O Great G.o.d of Fire, bestow upon me thy divine power. Wash the sins of this earth with the flames of h.e.l.l! Forbidden Curse—Dance of the Fire Dragon!”

A giant dragon made of flames darted out from the tip of Lonely Semi City’s staff. With a dragon’s roar, it crashed toward Zangila uncontrollably.

The ground crackled and even the rocks were burned to a crisp. This Fire Forbidden Spell looked extremely extravagant, and its power was naturally also exceptional.

From the moment he started casting it to its eventual release, Lonely Semi City used an entire half-minute. When he successfully summoned the Fire Dragon, his mana was completely depleted. Even though Li Yi’s attacks did not seem as extravagant as Lonely Semi City’s, each of his arrows could deal 7,000+ in damage, and each shot of Eliminate could take more than 15,000+ of Zangila’s HP. In less than 10 seconds, he had managed to destroy the second layer of the Blood Poison s.h.i.+eld.

“That’s bad*ss!” Lonely Semi City gave Li Yi a huge thumbs-up.

“Do you two want to become Zangila’s most loyal followers as well? Come, and together we shall welcome the glorious return of Lord Evil G.o.d.”

Zangila gave chase, flipping head over heels as he splashed his green poison at Li Yi. Li Yi activated his Rocket Propellant. However, there was a “boom” as the fuel exploded, and Li Yi was instantly blasted into the air.

“Swoos.h.!.+ Swoos.h.!.+”

Although the Rocket Propellant did not work as planned, this did not affect Li Yi’s performance in the slightest. While he was floating in mid-air, he unleashed his arrows at Zangila madly and managed to pull his aggro.

Just then, the Violent Bear King rushed forth at the same time. Although Li Yi could not control it like he could the Mutated Small Wild Boar, he could still order it to await orders or attack without any problems.

“Zangila wants to make all of you my followers. Hehehehe, my most loyal followers will never betray Zangila, ever!”

A purple-named boss definitely had higher-than-average IQ. Zangila splashed a large amount of green poison onto the ground. As soon as Li Yi landed, he would undoubtedly die.

“Fiery Explosion!”

Lonely Semi City had recovered. He sent a large fireball flying at Zangila, pus.h.i.+ng the latter several meters back.

If a player got hit by the green poison, they would become undead, but if they were touched by the red poison, they would die. The concentration of the red poison was like rain. When the red poison splashed onto the ground, it immediately began to emit white smoke. Even stone could not withstand that corrosive power. Lonely Semi City used Flash to leave the range of Zangila’s splas.h.i.+ng, whereas Li Yi activated Wild s.h.i.+eld Protection, using it to weave through the rain of red poison as he continued to shoot.

“Fiery Explosion Missile!”

A series of fireb.a.l.l.s crashed toward Zangila. Lonely Semi City was dealing damage as he hid, far away from Zangila.

The Violent Bear King was in for a bad time. Even though Li Yi ordered it to leave the area, its body was still too large. It touched the red poison by accident, and its body instantly turned into vapor, vanis.h.i.+ng away…

“Mislead!”

Li Yi used Mislead on Lonely Semi City and desperately shot at Zangila. Zangila stayed in mid-air for a very long time, and the only way to get him down was to constantly attack him. Otherwise, he would just stay there and scatter his red poison, and no skill would be able to withstand that for long.

“Zangila wants to make you into the most obedient follower, owwww—”

Zangila fell from mid-air and crashed onto the ground, the numbers [−58,954] appearing above his head.

Thanks to Li Yi’s Mislead, Zangila’s aggro was transferred to Lonely Semi City. As soon as he landed, he somersaulted on his way to chase Lonely Semi City.

“Stop Misleading and start fighting, I can’t hold him off!” Lonely Semi City yelled as he ran, occasionally turning around and shooting fireb.a.l.l.s to attack.

“Hold on for a bit. You can do it, yes you can.

“Camouflage!”

Li Yi broke away from the battle and used Pet Resurrection to resurrect the Violent Bear King.

Pet Resurrection could only be used when not in battle, and the channeling bar took 10 seconds. In the meantime, he could not afford to be disturbed, or else it would fail.

Lonely Semi City barely avoided death. Aside from the red and green poisons, Zangila’s physical attacks were also very powerful. “Guild Master, I’ve dug up all the dirt on Wind-on-Snow, all of her info is right here in this mail.”
