Pets and Equipment were not that different in the fact that there were good and bad ones even if they were of the same type.

The Lightning Leopard’s name would be gold in color under normal circ.u.mstances. However, the one that stood in front of them was different. It was the extremely rare purple colored one!

The rarity of items in the King of Pantheon were categorized by colors where white, blue, green, gold, purple, and orange would signify basic, normal, average, above average, rare, and legendary respectively.

This meant that the Lightning Leopard with a purple name was of rare quality, a step higher than the common sp.a.w.ning gold name Lightning Leopard. The overall attribute differences would be obvious too, they were a world’s part.

“Dear, we’ve hit the jackpot!” Not Gray Wolf’s eyes were wide open.

Call Me Red Wolf gave Not Gray Wolf two hard slaps and the latter was stunned.

Call Me Red Wolf used Capture and a progress bar appeared on Lightning Leopard’s head.

Li Yi was surprised as well when the Purple Lightning Leopard sp.a.w.ned, but he did not immediately go down to capture it. Instead, he watched how the Lightning Leopard tortured this couple to death patiently.

It was impossible to capture the Lightning Leopard directly regardless of how many tries the player attempted. The probability of successfully capturing it would only be there when its HP was down to less than 1,000,000.

There was still a lot of time left and Li Yi was patient enough.

The couple revived together as Red Wolf pointed at Gray Wolf and gave him a harsh scolding.

The Golden Lightning Leopard had only 6,000,000 HP whereas the Purple Lightning Leopard had 12,000,000. The difference between the two was obvious from comparing their HP itself.

Call Me Red Wolf was determined as she placed multiple traps on the ground before attacking the Lightning Leopard.

Call Me Red Wolf had learned her lesson as she ran away the moment she shot her first arrow. As expected, the Lightning Leopard appeared where she was standing previously in the blink of an eye. A cloud of black gas gathered on the ground as a Headless Horseman walked out from it.

It was the Sacrificial Summon which summoned an undead creature, the Headless Horseman!

“Stop playing dumb and hurry up!” Not Gray Wolf’s HP was still draining as he summoned the Headless Horseman. Although it was just a decrement in the tens, he would not be able to last if it took too long to summon it. This was typical for any typical Sacrificial Summon Spell as the owner would receive greater punishment if the pet they were trying to summon was stronger.

It took no time for the frozen effect to dissipate. As the Lightning Leopard was about to start growling and attacking again, the Headless Horseman managed to intercept it in time.

Taking advantage of this opening, Call Me Red Wolf began spamming Capture on it…

4 sneak arrows flew towards Call Me Red Wolf, hitting her vital spots. Then, the Golden-feathered Eagle plunged from the sky, reaching out its claw to blind her for 12 seconds.

“Dear, save me…” Call Me Red Wolf screamed as she used her skill Keep Going If Alive.

The person who ambushed her was none other than Princess Huaiyu. She did not leave the area because she was waiting for this golden opportunity.

It was another 4-hit combo and this was enough to drop her to the ground. Once bitten twice shy, Princess Huaiyu had learned her lesson and gave Call Me Red Wolf another arrow to her corpse.

“Motherf*cking b*tch…” Call Me Red Wolf screamed in anger as she was really dead this time around.

“How dare you kill my wife. I’ll widen your *ss!”

The Headless Horseman raised its black sword up high, turning it into a huge sword which spanned dozen of meters by covering it with a cloud of black gas before throwing its slash towards Princess Huaiyu.

“Purple-gold Combat Tiger!”

Princess Huaiyu did not move an inch as she raised her hand and summoned the Purple-gold Combat Tiger while watching the black giant sword hurling towards her.

“Growl…”

The Purple-gold Combat Tiger appeared and welcomed the black sword with its claw, dispersing it into oblivion.

The tiger slammed the ground with its claw. It had used Malicious Nullification!

Princess Huaiyu took the opportunity when the Headless Horseman was still in a daze and started attacking Not Gray Wolf. She was able to deal with him with ease as he only had half of his HP, two arrows was all it took to kill him.

“Just you wait you bigot. If I can’t get it, don’t think that you can catch it as well!” Not Gray Wolf scolded out loud as he released his soul.

The Purple-gold Combat Tiger blitzed towards the Lightning Leopard and stood right in front of it. As the two purple cla.s.s pets stared each other in the eye, they both growled as they began clawing at each other.

The Lightning Leopard’s claws were incredibly fast and it attacked at an extremely fast rate just like an electric fan. Anyone would have little chance of surviving if they were caught in its attack. On the other hand, the Purple-gold Combat Tiger stood on the other end of the spectrum. Its claws were slow but it was able to stun its target.

The two pets exchanged blows. The Purple-gold Combat Tiger’s HP had dropped by 1000+ whereas the Lightning Leopard’s HP had dropped by 5000+ and was stunned simultaneously.

Red light glowed around Princess Huaiyu’s hands as she used Capture on the Lightning Leopard.

Capture from a Pet Path Archer was completely ineffective as well and the Lightning Leopard was not having any of it. As soon as the channeling started, it would immediately pop and would never reach above 3%.

Li Yi fooled around with the longbow in his hand and did not blink even once as he watched the situation below him unfold.

He was very determined to have the Purple Lightning Leopard and he did not take any action because it was not yet time. He had been watching closely all this while and he would definitely not allow Princess Huaiyu and the rest of them to survive if the channeling were to progress further.

Admittedly, it was rather despicable to ambush them, but which of those characters below were better? They would just backstab each other. This would be absolutely unforgivable in real life but in the game, it was within the rules. In order to survive in a game, one only needed to know one thing, which was strength could overcome reasoning!

Three arrows pierced through the atmosphere and landed on Princess Huaiyu’s back. Two of the three arrows was a critical hit, dealing -1200 damages per arrow and this instantly put Princess Huaiyu to the ground!

Unease Without e.j.a.c.u.l.a.t.i.o.n stood far away with his bow in his hand as he sneered at Princess Huaiyu.

The Purple-gold Combat Tiger vanished as its owner had perished during combat. As the Lightning Leopard’s stun had dissipated, it set its eyes on Unease Without e.j.a.c.u.l.a.t.i.o.n.

Unease Without e.j.a.c.u.l.a.t.i.o.n turned around and ran away without any hesitation. He had witnessed everything, the situation where the Wolf couple were instantly killed by the Lightning Leopard. He knew that it would be suicide fighting against this beast, which was the reason why he decided to retreat.

Although Unease Without e.j.a.c.u.l.a.t.i.o.n’s reasoning was very sound, he had vastly underestimated Lightning Leopard’s speed. It took the Lightning Leopard three seconds to close the distance of a hundred meters and with a swipe of its mighty claw, Unease Without e.j.a.c.u.l.a.t.i.o.n met his end…

“We’ll team up and reduce its health to less than 1,000,000 HP. Then, we will take turns to capture it and it’ll belong to whoever catches it first. It’s fair and square.”

“I agree!” Unease Without e.j.a.c.u.l.a.t.i.o.n responded.

Princess Huaiyu pondered for a moment before responding. “Fine. I agree as well!”

No enemies were eternal. Enemies would temporarily become comrades in the face of temptation and interest, even if they were sworn enemies. Although this was merely a relations.h.i.+p of taking advantage of each other, everyone understood very well that it was very just.

No one would be able to capture the Lightning Beast if they were to keep fighting against each other. All of them knew that the only chance to capture it was to work together, which was the reason why they decided to do so.

Not Gray Wolf sent a party invitation to Princess Huaiyu and Unease Without e.j.a.c.u.l.a.t.i.o.n. He had even set the party as a party without a leader and free to loot mode in order to show his sincerity.
