The Bugatti Veyron was roaring. Moonlight Ocean did not slow down at all as she drifted from one curve to another, catching up to b.u.t.terfly Blue and East Tsim Sha Tsui Racer G.o.d in no time.

b.u.t.terfly Blue and East Tsim Sha Tsui Racer G.o.d were indeed fast, but compared to Moonlight Ocean who was born in a family of National Agents, they were miles apart.

Her drifts, both controlled and uncontrolled barely landed within the tracks. Initially, Li Yi was able to bear with it as he used both of his hands to hold himself steady. However, once her speed had truly gone up, he could only sense the deep rumble of the car as his consciousness had begun to drift away.

They had already broken the sound barrier…

The Bugatti Veyron sped like a rocket.

Moonlight Ocean had already caught up to both the cars. She tried to overtake them, only for them to block her advance. Using their own vehicles, they had halted the vehicle from advancing, a common tactic within the underground racing world.

East Tsim Sha Tsui Racer G.o.d was still holding the lead, with b.u.t.terfly in the middle and Moonlight trailing them. The three of their cars maintained their motion and were in sync, speeding up, drifting and etc…

As they neared the end of the track, the legendary Racer’s Grave, the U-Shaped Track, Hand of Death was right before them.

It was not a U-turn but it resembled human fingers instead, with one curve followed by another!

Huanshan road was not an official race track, thus there were many straight roads, which was the main reason that enabled Moonlight Ocean to catch up. However, within this unofficial track called Huanshan road, lay a challenge that far surpa.s.sed the realm of professional racers called the Hand of Death. Needless to say, making it out of the Hand of Death was the key to winning the race!

The Ferrari F430 slowed down its pace and so did b.u.t.terfly Blue. They were preparing to drift.

On the other hand, Moonlight Ocean did not slow down and had sped up instead. She kept close to b.u.t.terfly Blue’s car, gradually forcing her to the outer rims.

Tchhhhh! Pzzzttt! Tcchhhh…

With a swift drift, East Tsim Sha Tsui Racer G.o.d was the first to make it past the U-shaped curve.

Tchhh! Pzzzzt! Tchhhh…

b.u.t.terfly Blue followed closely behind, drifting across easily as well.

Pzzzzt! Pssssst! Vrooooom…

Moonlight Ocean had overtaken her!

It was during the first U-shaped Curve. Moonlight Ocean stuck close to the inner track, forcing b.u.t.terfly Blue’s car out and overtaking her.

Pzzzzt! Pssssst! Vrooooom…

Moonlight Ocean refused to slow down, whereas East Tsim Sha Tsui Racer G.o.d was slowing down with the intention to make it past the second curve. He did not expect the audacity of the speeding up car behind him.

With another perfect drift within the inner track, Moonlight Ocean had surpa.s.sed East Tsim Sha Tsui Racer G.o.d, putting her at the lead!

Pzzzt! Tchhhhh! Vrooom….

Moonlight Ocean continued at her pace and drifted past the second U-shaped curve at a terrifying speed.

East Tsim Sha Tsui Racer G.o.d and b.u.t.terfly Blue were dumbfounded, and did not increase their speed after they recovered from the shock…

‘Is she even human? Even a professional racer couldn’t do what she just did right?’

Pzzt! Tchhh! Vroooom…

The Bugatti Veyron had burst out of Death’s Hand and the remainder of the track was a straight road, up until the finish line!

“Hey hey, it’s your turn now!”

Moonlight Ocean ‘tore’ off from Li Yi and went back to the pa.s.senger seat.

Li Yi finally opened his eyes, and with the pedal to the metal, they arrived at the finish line in no time.

Victory!

Sputter…Puuufff… Tch—

Just as the Bugatti Veyron made it past the finish line, it humiliatingly broke down…

“Well… he is the Flipping Snail after all.”

“Is he an expert or a newbie?”

Above the stands, countless people had left their mouths agape in bewilderment.

They were not the ones that received the biggest shock though, as that privilege had belonged to East Tsim Sha Tsui Racer G.o.d and b.u.t.terfly Blue.

Seeing the performance of the Bugatti Veyron, their emotions had been riled up. They increased their speed as well to imitate how the Bugatti Veyron had made it past the curves.

They had made it through the third curve unscathed, but as they were attempting to pa.s.s the fourth curve, their vehicles had collided, and they went off course…

Fortunately, the place they crashed into was a heap of garbage, which softened their impact. Aside from the damage to their vehicles, both of them remained unharmed.

East Tsim Sha Tsui Racer G.o.d brought himself forward to the Bugatti Veyron.

“Dude, you’re a professional racer, aren’t you?”

“Amateur!”

Li Yi smiled awkwardly as he got off the car along with Moonlight Ocean. Then, they went to look for Chen Lan.

A huge chunk of Chen Lan’s car was stuck within the garbage heap. Many had run over with the intention to help her out. Alas, she was obstinate in her desire to remain within it, leaving the others at a loss at what to do.

Li Yi knocked on the window, startling Chen Lan. She opened the back door, allowing Li Yi and Moonlight Ocean to enter.

“I lost,” sobbed Chen Lan.

After a moment, Chen Lan’s emotions had finally settled down. She then said, “Are you really the Flipping Snail? I want to go another round with you. Give me a time and place, and regardless of the outcome, I’ll give you 20,000,000 yuan just for racing!”

“Again? Fine, come look for me within King of Pantheon. The name’s Dark Wing!”

The Bugatti Veyron slowly sputtered back to life. Riding shotgun, Moonlight Ocean took off her shades and her scarf, revealing her beautiful looks.

She was singing a song, as requested by Li Yi…

“I’m truly grateful for your help this time.”

Moonlight Ocean continued singing without even looking at him.

“What are you thinking about? Hey! You’re going to reach home soon, and we’re going to separate then!”

“Reaching home is good. I’ll be safe once I’m there.” Moonlight Ocean flashed a mischievous face at him.

“What do you mean? I’m a pure gentleman.”

“You? Pure? Gentleman?”

“Why of course, if I weren’t a pure gentleman, I would’ve nabbed you just now.”

Moonlight Ocean rolled her eyes, pretending not to hear what he just said.

After a moment, Li Yi tapped on her hands, asking, “Hey, I have something to ask.”

“Speak.”

“If I did ‘that’ to you just now, what would happen?”

“I’ll report it to the police, no doubt!”

“Report it to the police? You’re joking.” Li Yi teased. “I heard that National Agents like you value your ident.i.ty, so you definitely won’t be reporting it to the police.”

“You could say so. However, if you took another step just now…” Moonlight Ocean flashed a threatening smile at Li Yi. “I’ll pulverize you.”

“Lies!”

“Suit yourself!”

“Let’s do it again!”

Li Yi slowed down his car and extended both of his hands. He hugged Moonlight Ocean to his seat and allowed her to sit on top of him.

His actions were swift, and when Moonlight Ocean had understood what was happening, she was already on top of him.

“You… how shameless!”

Moonlight Ocean’s face flushed red as she used her elbow to strike him.

She did not apply much force to her strike, but it was precise. Without experiencing any pain, Li Yi’s head slumped, and he fainted.

“This attack is called Perverted Devil’s Sure Faint Fist! Hmmph!”

Moonlight Ocean snorted cutely and grabbed onto the steering wheel, replacing Li Yi as the driver.

Li Yi had indeed fainted, but she had forgotten that Li Yi was still below her. The two of their bodies were in close contact, and she had full control over how intimate she wanted the pose to be.

Moonlight Ocean drove the car into her sister’s, Xu Man’s mansion. After three checkpoints, they had finally reached Xu Man’s front door.

He was just curious and did not expect to find the superstar’s personal diary when he stumbled upon Xu Man’s chambers.

The diary was on top of her bed and Xu Man had the habit of writing in her diary daily.

From young to old, the superstar’s lifestyle and details had all been recorded within this small book.
