The size of the woman in black robe was similar to Great Lord Knight’s. She was the highest civil officer, the Chief Executive.

Different from Great Lord Knight who had a powerful P-ATK, Chief Executive was proficient in M-ATK. Whether in HP or ATK, Chief Executive’s stats far surpa.s.sed that of Great Lord Knight.

Not only was there a channeling period of 20 seconds upon activation, but the switch flipper would also enter into a Guidance state where they would be unable to move or utilize any skills. Unending Unmatched ran to the head of the pack and unleashed s.h.i.+eld Wall while the rest were buffing him with damage-reducing skills. The moment he stepped foot into the Imperial Palace, Chief Executive was on the move.

A slice of wind descended from above, slas.h.i.+ng Unending Unmatched from head to toe.

Little Elf from the Magical Realm was quick to react, fiddling with her piccolo to heal Unending Unmatched.

“Sea of Fire!”

Chief Executive raised both her hands up high, and a large fireball erupted from her palms before bursting to its surroundings.

The entire Imperial Palace was up in flames. Unending Unmatched turned to run when he saw things turning sour. However, he had not even moved three steps when he was devoured by the Sea of Fire.

HP would continue to drop in the Sea of Fire, reducing 10,000+ every second. The healers would not be able to keep up.

“Retreat!”

The Sea of Fire lasted for about 20 seconds before slowly fading away. It was then Little Elf from the Magical Realm had resurrected Unending Unmatched to engage in the battle once again.

Chief Executive was capable in all elemental magic, with Sea of Fire being the most devastating. It did not matter whether she was in a Weakened state when she unleashed this move, it could still be an instant kill if one did not evade in time.

Unending Unmatched took his chances again, activating Charge towards Chief Executive as she was unleas.h.i.+ng a wide-ranged Blizzard spell.

The Blizzard spell released by Chief Executive could not be disrupted but there were more than ten seconds on the clock before the channeling period ended.

At the sound of Li Yi’s order, the four teams in charge of flipping the switches ascended their mounts and raced to their respective switches.

Jiaojiao rode on Deathcharger, coming in the left then suddenly to the right, keeping up the Double Curse on Chief Executive. She was slicing her here and there, coming and going like the wind.

Black Knight’s Double Curse was powerful. Although the HP reduced every second was not much, this move was best suited for s.n.a.t.c.hing merit. The person with the last hit at Great Lord Knight and Chief Executive was bound to be rewarded with an ample Meritorious Value.

All players who partic.i.p.ated in the kill would obtain 1 to 1,000 points of Meritorious Value (depending on the HP reduced by a person) and the person with the last strike would be rewarded 100,000 points of Meritorious Value.

This merit could be used for a lot of things, be it purchasing mounts, equipment, drawing paper, learning skills, etc. As merits could only be obtained during Warring Nations, this item was extremely precious.

If it were not for the merit, these players would not go all out in a cycle of death and resurrection. Who would believe it was all for a guild?

The more one attacked, the more the gains. The less one attacked, the lesser the gains. This was the value of the merit system!

“Alright, pah pah pah, no no,” Jiaojiao thought about it before replying. “How about, if you lose, you’ll carry me for a month.”

“N-no problem!” Li Yi agreed after a little hesitation.

Truth be told, Li Yi was not a hundred percent certain he would land the last strike on Chief Executive.

There were currently over a million players attacking Chief Executive. The bigger the number, the lower the chances. A million HP could disappear just like that, how could he calculate when to act?

While Chief Executive’s HP dropping drastically, the four switches still were being flipped in turns. Overall, the battle was going on seamlessly. The way things were developing, Chief Executive should be dead in about ten minutes.

Defiantly Tyrannical, on the other hand, was still in a heated battle with the Arrow Towers.

“Tyrannical, we can’t just forcefully make our way in. It’s almost been an hour but we only managed 12 Arrow Towers. Our people can’t take it anymore. If we go on, our losses will be too great,” Yang Xingchen was deeply concerned.

“We can’t just stop and watch while Dark Wing becomes King. I just received intel from inside Celestial Capital. Dark Wing and the rest are fighting Chief Executive and will be entering the Imperial Palace Hall in a bit,” Defiantly Tyrannical was fuming so much inside that these words just spat out of his mouth.

“It can’t be helped. I did a quick calculation. If we were to force our way on the Arrow Towers, it will take us anywhere from 7 to 12 hours. All our members will drop to between 10 to 20 levels. Tyrannical, is it worth it?”

“It’s worth it!” Defiantly Tyrannical nodded forcefully as he gritted his teeth, “Sure, our levels will drop, but so would Dark Wing and his pals’. Do you know what they are most afraid of now?”

“What?”

“Troublemakers!”

“He didn’t touch the Arrow Towers so they could prevent us from entering the city. His intentions are obvious, he’s afraid of us stirring trouble. Hehe, I can guarantee you that if we get past these Arrow Towers, Dark Wing will be wailing like a baby!”

Yang Xingchen frowned and did not respond. He was not convinced.

“Let’s take turns in attacking. Our War G.o.d Clan has suffered heavy losses, we need to recuperate for a bit,” Nameless War G.o.d dared not barge in recklessly.

A streak of anger flickered past Defiantly Tyrannical’s eyes but quickly disappeared. He smiled, “Alright then, take turns, everyone. Our Tyrannic Dynasty will go first!”

Three Major Guild Alliance readjusted their attack formation and Tyrannic Dynasty took the lead in launching attacks on the Arrow Towers.

Just as Defiantly Tyrannical was leading his people on the offense, a piece of good news arrived that lifted his spirits.

Brother Windcloud Nine was here with the Windcloud Clan!

The Windcloud Clan of 1.3 million were arriving at Celestial Capital at record speed.

Night Moon could aid Li Yi in stopping Arthur but she would not oppose the Windcloud Clan because Night Moon herself was up for Throne-claiming and the Windcloud Clan remained neutral in their att.i.tude towards this matter.

“Hahahaha, Dark Wing, dream on on taking the crown!” Defiantly Tyrannical was overjoyed and spamming the world channel in welcoming the arrival of the Windcloud Clan.

The word on backup had lifted the spirits of Three Major Guild Alliance. The more people, the bigger the force. They were mostly cheering for Brother Windcloud Nine who was the spiritual leader of the Windcloud Clan.

The others were not important. As long as Brother Windcloud could make it, everything would be okay!

With the best equipment, highest EVA and highest dodging probability, Brother Windcloud Nine could take down the Arrow Towers alone when n.o.body could!

Following a stream of cheers, Brother Windcloud Nine was first to arrive, riding on Cerberus. Behind him were the Windcloud Clan troops.

Brother Windcloud Nine returned him a smile but did not bother with him as he smacked Cerberus’s head to make a run towards the Arrow Towers.

The Arrow Towers were triggered before several hundred arrows came raining down. Brother Windcloud Nine stood there, as these arrows struck him. The word ‘Miss’ kept showing up on his head and after ten seconds, his HP was still maintained at the upper limit.

“Immovable King!”

The members of Three Major Guild Alliance were hailing him with respect!
