There was a time limit for players going into the second phase of the battle. Once the time limit was up, the number of players could not be increased any longer.

Li Yi looked into the number of survivors left in the party, it was 2,865.

“Guild Master, how do we play this?” Unending Unmatched walked over.

Thirty-seven main tanks walked out of the line. Their DEF were at least 10,000 in value.

“Buff up!”

At the sparkle of glows, their regular buffs were cast. It was not long before a bunch of statuses boosted up on all the players.

Buffs were advantageous, hence Li Yi would always equip all regular buffs to enhance HP, ATK, mana, increasing his overall attributes by 50%.

Fully equipped with regular buffs, Li Yi issued the order to strike.

Without any clear vision of tactical strategy and orders to just go ahead, the main tanks charged up without a clue.

Li Yi has never played Glory dungeon in his past life, but he knew a little about Mutated Yuge, the final boss. The reason was simple, Mutated Yuge was voted as the most mindless boss for two consecutive years.

The thirty-eight main tanks, including Unending Unmatched, flanked and encircled Mutated Yuge.

With their efforts mostly in vain, it has not been one minute before only five out of the thirty-eight main tanks were left standing.

Unending Unmatched, Amber Sword Heart, Fallen Star, Brother Windcloud Nine, and Nightly Feather Mourn.

Nightly Feather Mourn was a main tank Warrior of Fluttering Snow Alliance. He never made it into the Top Ten Main Tanks rank in the past life, awkwardly taking the 11th place. Even so, his ability should not be underestimated as he is one of the trump cards of Fluttering Snow Alliance.

Brother Windcloud Nine was all about equipment. He took on all of Mutated Yuge’s heavy fists, without dodging or evading. The damage he suffered was the least amongst all the main tanks.

A +13 enhanced equipment was nothing against players but against monsters, its effect was powerful enough!

Apart from Brother Windcloud Nine, the other four players emphasized on technique, using Block to minimize damage and their s.h.i.+eld to defend against heavy blows.

If Mutated Yuge’s attack frequency was any lesser, any powerful tank could easily resist against it. It was a shame though, the situation was otherwise. Mutated Yuge was so quick in its attack that the main tank could Block the first time but not the second.

A while later, the No. 1 of the Top Ten Main Tanks, Amber Sword Heart collapsed, followed by Fallen Star, Nightly Feather Mourn, Unending Unmatched…

Brother Windcloud Nine was still hanging on, striking this mindless boss. He was struggling the least.

Fallen players utilized their Light Amulet but those without Light Amulet remained on the ground.

Fortunately, inside the dungeon had different rules from the wild. There was a time limit to remain a corpse in the wild while within the dungeon, there was no such restriction. One could lie as long as they liked.

The main tanks were off and up on their feet in very quick, while the players behind watched with their hearts pounding. The DPS and healers only needed to fire and heal respectively without moving from their positions in this mindless battle.

All relied on the main tanks. Victory was guaranteed as long the main tank stood firm but the consequences would be disastrous should the main tank fall.

s.h.i.+eld Wall, Holy s.h.i.+eld Spell, Wind s.h.i.+eld’s Protection, such survival skills of these main tanks were useless against Mutated Yuge. Mutated Yuge may not have any skills, but its normal attack could cause Guard Break, s.h.i.+eld Break, and Invincibility Break.

Staying true to Fist to Flesh, this was Mutated Yuge!

When Mutated Yuge’s HP dropped to 82%, there were only two left out of the thirty-eight main tanks.

Brother Windcloud Nine has not died even once while Amber Sword Heart died twice. The latter was in luck, when he was almost pulverized the third time, Dark Honor was triggered and he resurrected on the spot at full health.

“Brother Nine, we’re counting on you!”

The players at the periphery were hot with emotion. Anyone could tell that only Brother Windcloud Nine, this super equipment brute could stand up to Mutated Yuge, this high ATK mindless boss.

“Is he your husband?”

At the back of the party, Fire Wizard, Lin Qian, and Curse Priest Sister Windcloud Nine were having a brief chat.

“Yeah, my husband’s awesome.” Sister Windcloud Nine was proud.

“Better than Dark Wing?”

At the front, Amber Sword Heart lucked out and triggered another Dark Honor upon death to revive again.

Amber Sword Heart has 100,000 HP while Brother Windcloud Nine has 150,000 HP. No matter the damage reduction or DEF value, Brother Nine has the upper hand.

Facing Mutated Yuge’s frenzied blows, Brother Windcloud Nine would not die as long as a healer kept hitting the heal b.u.t.ton. However, the same circ.u.mstance would not work on Amber Sword Heart. He was more suited to tank against a boss with techniques.

When Mutated Yuge’s HP dropped to 70%, its body slowly turned red. This was the sign to go Berserk.

“It’s going to strike hard!” Brother Windcloud Nine turned anxious.

“Bp! Bp! Bp! Bp!”

Li Yi held on to the Orange Quality Bow as he stood in front of the pillar the hostages were tied to, helplessly shaking his head.

Pope s.h.i.+rui and Great Lord Moigne had lost consciousness, unable to lend a hand to the party.

It was then the surface of Orange Quality Bow s.h.i.+mmered red, gradually heating up.

With Inextinguishable Tinder in play, he could not use it for now.

All healers of the party had their eyes fixated on Brother Windcloud Nine. Healers could not just mindlessly cast heals, they needed to time them.

There was always an interval between skills. If heal was used on a target with full HP, it was a complete waste. If a target’s HP is lost and recovered in less than one second, and the heal required several seconds of channeling time, if that could be done, that would be the mark of a true master.

Taking Iron Alliance as an example, Little Elf from the Magical Realm and Nirvana Inaction were such a master. Wu Old Wolf was still lacking a tad while Fire Ice was, in Li Yi’s words, a natural airhead…

Everyone knew that if Brother Windcloud Nine went down, this party would face TPK. His fate alone was closely linked to the entire party’s survival.

The most nervous of them all was not Brother Windcloud Nine but his wife, Sister Windcloud Nine.

It was then Mutated Yuge’s HP dropped to 45% and its body turned completely red.

It was in Berserk mode!

“OMG!”

Everyone knew the consequences of Berserk. They were all stunned at the moment.

They saw Mutated Yuge abandon beating Brother Windcloud Nine up and ran to the front of the pillar to slam its giant fists on Great Lord Moigne.

Great Lord Moigne returned to consciousness from the attack. The HP displayed on his head was falling quick…

“Stop staring into blank s.p.a.ce, healers! Heal Great Lord!”

Mutated Yuge sans Berserk state was no challenge on Brother Windcloud Nine. He stood there and took the punches, having his HP maintained above 50%.

Once Mutated Yuge’s HP dropped to 40%, its body turned red and it gave up on Brother Windcloud Nine again, heading for the pillar to beat up Pope s.h.i.+rui.

Compared to Great Lord Moigne, Pope s.h.i.+rui was lame, because her HP upper limit was only 100 thousand…
