There were six in the party. Jiaojiao, Li Yi, and Sister Windcloud nine have used up their Light Amulets. If they were to die, they would be forcefully teleported out of the dungeon. Brother Windcloud Nine, Ouyang Qian, and Little Elf from the Magical Realm did not have this same problem. Each of them has two Light Amulets left, just enough to probe this robot dog.

“I’ll go first.”

Brother Windcloud Nine activated Defense Light Ring and threw a bunch of status boosts on himself before walking out.

Robot dog’s head lit up, prompting it to run over with a swift pace and headb.u.t.ting Brother Windcloud Nine.

“Jiaojiao, were you slowly tired out to death by it?”

Jiaojiao nodded, “Yes, its ATK gradually grew vicious. I only reduced its HP by 1% when I was worn to death.”

Li Yi frowned.

If its ATK grew stronger, this would mean that as time pa.s.ses, its ATK would surge to a terrifying level. How would they defeat it then?

Robot dog kept ramming Brother Windcloud Nine. The latter found it funny and chuckled. He did not even bother with a s.h.i.+eld and used a single-handed sword to counter-attack.

“It would become unfavorable if time drags on. It does not weigh up having a small party. The more people involved, the easier this battle would be,” Even Ouyang Qian saw through this.

Little Elf from the Magical Realm shook her head, “Although there’s no Beams and Light Wall here, I think this robot dog won’t only do headb.u.t.ts. Look at its head, it’s glowing.”

As they were talking, a beeping sound could be heard coming from the robot dog’s head. Next came a loud bang, a Light Wall enveloping the entire site was shot, pus.h.i.+ng everyone over.

The Light Wall shot by robot dog was at high velocity. Brother Windcloud Nine forced a Holy s.h.i.+eld Spell forward but Little Elf from the Magical Realm was faster, as she ran to a safe zone in a fork in the path quickly. Soon, Ouyang Qian dragged Sister Windcloud Nine in there too. The zone was bursting full with people when it came to Li Yi’s turn as it was only meant to fit one.

Jiaojiao has quicker reflexes than Li Yi as she snuck in with a swoosh.

Li Yi was stunned. However, as Light Wall was quickly forcing its way over, he grabbed Jiaojiao’s arm in a flash and dragged her out, leaving him s.p.a.ce to creep in.

“Activate Invincibility to keep yourself alive.”

“Immortal Body!”

It was fortunate that Jiaojiao was able to react quickly. As Light Wall was about to touch her, she initiated Lord Disaster’s special skill, Immortal Body to pull through.

“Szh! Szh!”

It was not just one Light Wall. There was more to come. Robot dog unleashed three Light Walls, after which the glimmering glow on its head faded away.

It took 12 seconds for the three Light Walls to pa.s.s through and Brother Windcloud Nine’s Holy s.h.i.+eld Spell lasted just the right amount of time while Jiaojiao’s Immortal Body lasted 15 seconds. The two just barely made it through.

Li Yi sighed, “It won’t do with more people.”

The tunnels in light labyrinth were more or less the same – the main pa.s.sage being narrow but forks narrower. Four people hiding in it was already the maximum. There was no way a fifth person could make it in.

“Hand… Hand… Hand…”

It was then, Sister Windcloud Nine’s trembling voice was heard stammering in the background.

Li Yi was gobsmacked and stepped out of the zone.

“Dark Wing! Hand… Take your hand away…” Sister Windcloud Nine was still shrieking in terror.

Brother Windcloud Nine ran over and glanced at Li Yi suspiciously. He then took a peek at his wife.

Ouyang Qian’s hand was sunk into Sister Windcloud Nine’s garments and indulging in some fondling.

Seeing Brother Windcloud Nine walking over, Ouyang Qian’s face did not change as she took out her hand calmly, “I was ma.s.saging her to ease her fear.”

As they both were women, does this count as s.e.xual hara.s.sment?

Brother Windcloud Nine was dumbstruck.

Brother Windcloud Nine glared at Sister Windcloud Nine, “Don’t just yell, I honestly thought…”

Sister Windcloud Nine’s cheeks went red. She quickly lowered her head.

Li Yi let out a long sigh of relief. It was fortunate he ran out quick enough or he would be the scapegoat.

Robot dog was light on its feet as it pursued them here. Brother Windcloud Nine went ahead to stop it in its tracks.

“Brother Nine, take your time kiting it to reel it over there.”

“No problem!”

“Go!” Li Yi wagged his finger at the four women before turning to run.

There was only one fork in this tunnel which happened to be the Light Wall safe zone. It was simply too risky and unsuitable for six of them to attack.

Li Yi ran at lightning speed and stopped once he found another area with two forks where only one Light Wall pa.s.sed through this area after a length of time.

“This is the place.”

The number of people against robot dog should not be too many or else once the three Light Walls advanced, there would be no place to hide.

Brother Windcloud Nine kited robot dog all the way here. The HP value on robot dog’s head was still at 100% but its ATK has since risen to 500.

Its ATK was adding bit by bit. Though it may seem uneventful in the beginning, as the battle progressed, its gruesomeness will be displayed.

Li Yi took another look before having Ouyang Qian strike.

“Fire Meteor!”

A powerful Fire Wizard could deal high damages. Three huge fireb.a.l.l.s crashed onto robot dog’s head, causing a shocking [-28,779] damage.

With Ouyang Qian joining in the fun, robot dog’s acc.u.mulated energy in its head was unleashed.

With three consecutive Light Walls right in their path, Brother Windcloud Nine cast Holy Protection to face them head-on while Ouyang Qian Flashed away into the fork.

After three Light Walls were another three more Light Walls. Brother Windcloud Nine could not hold off any longer with six continuous releases. His Holy Protection could not bear the brunt and soon he died under Light Wall.

Robot dog did not stop there. It strode with its four short legs to chase after Ouyang Qian who was hiding in the fork.

Li Yi shouted, “Jiaojiao, did you break away from battle?”

“I have.”

“Qian’er, have you?”

“I… haven’t. Wait, what did you call me?” Ouyang Qian paused and in that very moment, robot dog had reached her and shot a laser right at her chest.

Ouyang Qian was pinned by the laser as she died stuck to the wall.

Luckily, Li Yi and the rest were hiding in another fork, out of robot dog’s range of sight. They all managed to break away from the battle.

Robot dog’s head was s.h.i.+ning as it leisurely returned to where it came from. This boss was a homely creature. It would remain at the place where it sp.a.w.ned.

Ouyang Qian used a Light Amulet to resurrect and shook her head, “Something doesn’t sit right. Why did it use a normal attack on Brother Nine but hit me with laser?”

Li Yi answered, “It may be related to your Wizard cla.s.s.”

“Er, which means to say, if Brother Nine dies, I’m doomed?”

Li Yi replied, “I guess, looks like it, it should be, as you said.”

“That’s right, what did you call me earlier?” Ouyang Qian looked at Li Yi, waiting for an answer.

“Qian’er. I’m used to calling others by their pet names. I like calling Jiaojiao, Jiao’er.”

Jiaojiao was not happy, “When did you ever call me…”

Li Yi gave her a glare, causing Jiaojiao to stop her talking midway.

Ouyang Qian stared hard at Li Yi. She was surprised, because Li Yi calling her Qian’er felt familiar, intimate, yet she has no recollection of Li Yi.

Has she met him somewhere before?

A doubt struck in Ouyang Qian’s heart.

It was then Brother Windcloud Nine stood up, “There are more Light Walls with too many people. It’s hard to avoid.”

Sister Windcloud Nine nodded, “Yes, six consecutive Light Walls is hard to avoid.”

“No problem, try to kite it one more time. This time, don’t attack it, just pull its aggro. Also, when you’re kiting the boss, pull it in the opposite direction of us.”

“Opposite direction?” Sister Windcloud Nine was puzzled.

Brother Windcloud Nine added, “Which means the boss’ b.u.t.t is facing you.”

This time, Brother Windcloud Nine followed Li Yi’s instruction to pull robot dog to the opposite end and have its a.s.s facing everyone. He himself stopped attacking and used Taunt-type skills to increase aggro and reel it in tight.

Under Li Yi’s command, Ouyang Qian wielded her staff and launched an attack from behind robot dog.

The sandwich attack quickly built up robot dog’s energy to full.

The six consecutive Light Walls were fired but the direction was not towards Brother Windcloud Nine. Instead, they were headed towards Ouyang Qian.

With a Flash, she entered the fork. Ouyang Qian’s movement was meticulously swift and accurate as she successfully evaded the six waves of Light Walls.

Li Yi shouted with glee, “Brother Nine, use your Taunt to pull the boss back to you!”

“No problem!” Brother Windcloud Nine responded.

By using Taunt to control the monster, the aggro established would be a fake aggro as once the effect was gone, so would the aggro. This was how Brother Windcloud Nine was doing it. He did not hit robot dog but used Taunt to distract robot dog with fake aggro. In fact, robot dog’s No. 1 aggro target was actually Ouyang Qian. Therefore, the Light Walls went to the No. 1 aggro target, leaving Brother Windcloud Nine unscathed from the Light Wall attacks.

“Testing time’s over, fire at will!”

Li Yi held his Orange Quality Bow as he stuck out his head from the fork, drawing three arrows at robot dog at once.

With Brother Windcloud Nine alone enough to fill the melee cla.s.s, Dark Paladin Jiaojiao took the ranged cla.s.s, striking three Dark Charges in ten seconds before hiding back in the fork in order to recover her runes. Little Elf from the Magical Realm was doing what she did best — healing the whole party.

Sister Windcloud Nine too contributed. Weakening, Plodding, Curse, Malicious, all kinds of negative statuses were tossed out, plummeting robot dog’s attributes to an all-time low.

She may seem absent-minded but she pulled her weight in battle.

Li Yi nodded, feeling satisfied with everyone’s performance.

“Szh! Szh! Szh! Szh! Szh! Szh! Szh!”

Enraged, robot dog unleashed tens of Light Walls.

“Hide!”

Apart from Brother Windcloud nine, everyone else hid into the forks.

Tens of Light Walls pierced through like knives, lasting more than 20 seconds. Once it was over, all six in the party were unharmed!

“Great, let’s continue!”
