Li Yi was left with a single Random Teleportation Scroll. After tearing it open, his vision was filled with a white flash, and by the time he opened his eyes, he had appeared in the Southern Continent’s Celestial Capital…

Li Yi was transported somewhere behind the G.o.d-Queen, Carulla. As he listened to her soft mumbling, Li Yi was not sure whether to laugh or cry.

‘This Random Teleportation Scroll is kind of an a.r.s.e. When I needed it, it refuses to bring me to the right spot, and when I didn’t, it brought me to the correct area at the first try…’

Now that the king had been crowned, the war within the Southern Continent’s Celestial Capital had come to an end. Despite that, the streets were still littered with players roaming about. It made a rowdy scene.

Li Yi activated ‘Camouflage’ and hid himself the first chance he got. He then rubbed his Reusable Teleportation Stone and returned to the Invincible Continent.

‘Now that the king has emerged and everything has been settled, it makes no difference whether I stay here or not.’

On the other side of things, Fluttering Snow Alliance had pulled back their troops, and Jiaojiao was leading her army in pursuit. After breaking past six major cities and receiving a crumpling blow from the Southern Continent’s main army, Jiaojiao was no longer able to rally her troops and was forced to retreat.

Though both the Western Continent’s war and the Southern Continent’s war did not proceed as he had hoped, overall, Li Yi was quite satisfied with the results.

After all, Brother Windcloud Nine seizing of the throne had provided Li Yi with a reliable ally, and Arthur’s loss in the Southern Continent’s Throne-claiming War would make future advancements difficult for Arthur’s Empire. As for the newly appointed king, Milky Way Star, Li Yi had no comments.

Due to the emergence of the two new kings, the World Channel was bustling for days. Naturally, there were also power s.h.i.+fts happening within both nations. On the side of the Western Continent, Reigning the World and Legendary Tribe had gone silent. No major brawls had broken out on their end, but the same could not be said of the Southern Continent. Arthur was in a foul mood, and he gave the order to hunt down every ally of a.s.sembled G.o.ds, with the goal of forcing Milky Way Star to hand the throne over to him.

The two forces were always fighting one another, but this time, Arthur suffered a complete defeat.

The reason for it was simple, as he no longer had the a.s.sistance of his trusted support, Fluttering Snow Alliance. Instead, they gave him the cold shoulder and did nothing as they watched him enter a deathmatch against a.s.sembled G.o.ds.

Milky Way Star imposed a sanction on ‘Arthur’, which caused every player who was in Arthur’s Empire to be unable to use the teleportation doors of every major city. One or two days was no big deal to the elites, but as time went on, the normal players were beginning to lose it.

Playing without the teleportation doors was just too inconvenient as their movements were heavily restricted. Since Arthur could not devise a plan to get them out of their predicament, in the end, players who were allowed to quit the guild had chosen to do just that. Arthur’s Empire’s member count diminished day by day, and in the end, they were left in a position similar to Tyrannic Dynasty, whereby they had degraded from a first-rate guild to a third-rate guild…

The second day after the Southern Continent’s internal war had ended, Li Yi received a letter. The sender was Milky Way Star, and the subject of the letter was: Alliance.

Milky Way Star was truly a pa.s.sive figure. He had contacted Li Yi and Brother Windcloud Nine at the same time and had proposed a triple nation alliance. By doing so, the wars between their nations would cease to exist, and battles among players could be reduced.

Brother Windcloud Nine sent Li Yi a letter to inquire about his thoughts, and Li Yi responded by stating, “No alliance.”

After discounting the influence of Fluttering Snow Alliance, at present, the strongest nation was undoubtedly the Invincible Continent, followed by the Western Continent, and the Southern Continent was dead last. Should they choose to form an alliance now, would not it be equal to permitting the Southern Continent stable growth?

Thinking back to his past life, the Southern Continent and the Western Continent back then had invaded the Eastern Continent without no qualms whatsoever. The Defiantly Tyrannical in his past had made who knows how many attempts to propose an alliance with the neighboring nations, but he was met with the same outcome every time. ‘An alliance? The next day, Li Yi and Brother Windcloud Nine led their combined armies to invade the Southern Continent. They ransacked ten of Arthur’s major cities and had made off with over 20 million’s worth of Gold Coins.

As for the major cities owned by a.s.sembled G.o.ds, not a single one was touched. They were only targeting the ones that were owned by Arthur’s Empire, and it was something that both Li Yi and Brother Windcloud Nine had agreed on.

Together, Li Yi and Brother Windcloud Nine had joined forces to continuously invade Arthur for three whole days. By then, Milky Way Star could no longer stand it and had gathered his own troops to repel the invaders.

Milky Way Star had dispatched his own troops because he could see himself in Arthur’s shoes. Should he allow them free rein over Arthur now, he had no doubt that he would be the next person that was ‘toyed’ with.

As hostile as the internal war might have been, when it came to repelling invaders, players from every major force would band together. Even sworn enemies that would usually slaughter each other at first sight would willingly cooperate. It was not due to their nation’s pride or what not, as their actions were fuelled by fear. Fear that they would become the next target of the invaders.

After being ransacked for three whole days, Arthur could not withstand it any longer. He voluntarily relinquished his rights to nine of his major cities, gathered all his cavalry into a single major city, and prepared for a battle of attrition.

However, on the fourth day when Milky Way Star and Arthur had joined forces, Li Yi and Brother Windcloud Nine never came. Neither of them had dispatched their forces, and they had teamed up to clear group dungeons instead.

All five large-sized Instance Dungeons of the Light and Darkness Instances had high replay value as they were worthy of being played over and over again. Though Li Yi and Brother Windcloud Nine were not lacking any form of equipment, could the same be said of the majority of their guild members?

In order for their guilds to advance, entering dungeons to farm equipment was a necessary process.

Back in the Dark Paladin dungeon, the boss, Bloodseeker Tyrone had just been taken down. Brother Windcloud Nine hurried forward to loot it, and he struck gold. He had looted a Deathcharger.

With a huge grin on his face, Brother Windcloud Nine stated, “Time to roll.”

At that instant, someone threw down his dice, and when it stopped, it landed at 200 points!

“Who was that? d.a.m.n their luck! Is this what they call… Instant Kill?”

Not long ago, the system had undergone another update; and among the changes, it included a minor evolution to the rolling system. With that, the highest roll-able point was no longer capped at 100. For Dark Paladin dungeon which had a threshold of 200 players and whereby each player was qualified to roll, the upper threshold of the rolls would increase to 200 points. As such, anyone who manages to roll 200 points would be able to nab the mount immediately.

Everybody frantically looked around for the devil who rolled the 200 points. Before long, they had located their target. It was none other than Brother Windcloud Nine’s wife, and the current queen of the Western Continent, Sister Windcloud Nine…

Just as Sister Windcloud Nine was waving to her surroundings with a cheerful expression, Brother Windcloud Nine glared at her and shouted, “You’re not allowed to partic.i.p.ate!”

“The same goes for me. Everyone else, roll to your heart’s content!” Brother Windcloud Nine spoke with a resolute tone as he brought down his hand.

Sister Windcloud Nine pursed her lips and hung her head low. She did not dare to utter a single word.

“Life is strict at home, huh.” Li Yi privately messaged Sister Windcloud Nine.

“Ahemm, it’s still bearable…”

It was then that the players frantically rolled their dices. Li Yi had partic.i.p.ated as well, but fortune did not smile upon him. He had only rolled 5 points and as such, he had lost the right to own ‘Deathcharger’.

However, at that moment Queen Jiaojiao revealed her skill. She had missed out on Deathcharger the last time, but not this time. The dice rolled for about seven to eight seconds before it finally stopped; and when it did, it was revealed that she had tossed out the same score as Sister Windcloud Nine, 200 points.

Since Sister Windcloud Nine was not qualified to play and no one else had thrown out 200 points, Deathcharger was now Jiaojiao’s.

Li Yi reminded Jiaojiao, “Lil Chili, your cla.s.s’ Unique Mount can evolve, so, you won’t get much mileage from this horse.”

“Couldn’t I sell it? Hehe, did you think that I couldn’t earn money?”

“Oh, so you know how to earn money, eh? Then let me ask you, how much are you willing to sell this horse for?”

Li Yi sent Jiaojiao a trade request and placed a million gold coins into it.

After selling the equipment and giving the money to Fire Ice for temporary safekeeping, the party quit the dungeon and proceeded to the next Large-sized Group Dungeon, Glory.

Glory was not an easy dungeon. After spending nearly an entire day in it, Li Yi and Brother Windcloud Nine barely managed to reach the last boss. However, the moment they did, Conquer’s first kill announcement appeared in the World Channel.
