Before he got close, he heard a grating noise coming from the front. This was not a mermaid’s voice, but a Naga’s.

Tens of thousands of Nagas surrounded a little village. They were armed and raised them their weapons high from time to time while making a few rasping screams.

The first individual that crossed his mind was Fernando the Siren.

Before the Mermaid Princess, Freya became Li Yi’s mount, she was Fernando the Siren’s fiancée. She despised the marriage and would soon escape to the Water World. This story was what had prompted Li Yi to fish her up.

While Li Yi was contemplating, another yellow dot appeared on the minimap. A Human Warrior rode a seal mount and swam towards Princess Huaiyu.

“Yu’er, the quest is complete, let’s head to the palace of the Mermaid Queen.” the Human Warrior grinned.

“Thank you, Fifth Brother…” Princess Huaiyu thanked with a coquettish demeanor.

Li Yi was dazed by the appearance of the Human Warrior.

Tyrant Sword King the Fifth was unaware of Li Yi’s presence. He grabbed Princess Huaiyu’s hand and they rode the seal together towards the palace.

Li Yi was dumbstruck.

Although Li Yi was used to the hypocrisy of Tyrant Sword King the Fifth, he had always been ‘pure’. He had never heard of him being involved in any scandals.

Had he been acting all along?

Li Yi summoned his tortoise and quietly tailed the duo.

Tyrant Sword King the Fifth and Princess Huaiyu were touching each other on the mount and giggling. Their actions hinted at a relations.h.i.+p that was beyond friends.

“Human, congratulations on pa.s.sing my test. From now on, the Naga will regard you as an ally,” Fernando declared.

Two golden lights rose from Tyrant Sword King the Fifth and Princess Huaiyu, and they leveled up at the same time.

“My union with Freya will soon be held. I am worried that conniving rogues will come to disrupt the wedding. My brave allies, are you able to lend me your most n.o.ble a.s.sistance? Together, with many Naga warriors, we will protect this place.”

“I am willing!” Tyrant Sword King the Fifth and Princess Huaiyu nodded at the same time.

Li Yi became the witness as he swam into the chamber. Then he understood what quest they just accepted.

The Epic Quest, ‘The Protector of Naga’.

In this game, players could choose to have a good relations.h.i.+p with any NPC factions. When the relations.h.i.+p was officially established, players would obtain many benefits from the faction. For example, Li Yi had the privilege of entering the Tuhr Clan’s Altar.

The Epic Quest ‘The Protector of Naga’ only allowed players with ‘Intimate’ reputation to take it. Li Yi had completed it in his past life. The objective was very clear, and it was to do as many favorable things as possible for the Naga people. In other words, to work for the Naga and work hard to improve their relations.h.i.+p with the Naga.
