Brother Windcloud Nine’s condition was fine ever since that incident. His life was in stability and even the doctors were surprised about it. It was a miracle.

However, Sister Windcloud Nine thought otherwise. She was firm that it was Li Yi’s curse that he had thought her that was in effect. Hence, she had been chanting it three times per day, sometimes even more… Eagerly waiting for the day Brother Nine woke up.

Brother Nine was inside the Nourishment Chamber and the area beside him was filled with the latest instruments. This way, information would be sent out instantly as soon as there was any movement from him.

Sister Nine was incredibly happy when she heard Brother Nine harrumph loudly. However, she was laying on the ground then and she could not confirm whether she really did hear it. This was the reason why she stuttered and came up with an excuse to avoid hurting Brother Nine’s feelings.

One must not judge Sister Nine by her dumbfounded look, she could be incredibly delicate.

Brother Windcloud Nine did not stop for a single second and continued releasing the Holy Light Impact to gather the Aggro as hundreds of Mudmon crawled out from the ground.

He was able to achieve this with such an incredibly overpowered Territory, G.o.d’s Blessing. If it were the other Holy s.h.i.+eld Paladins, they would have exhausted their mana within ten seconds.

The three great pandas were very domineering as they kept casting their skills to continue their combos. In terms of kill counts, they were only slightly behind Li Yi and Qian’er.

Five waves of Mudmons kept crawling out from the ground. Although healers were required to a.s.sist the party in this stage, they were not needed since they had Brother Windcloud Nine in the party. The only healer, Fire Ice in the party held onto her staff as she crouched in front of Sister Windcloud Nine’s corpse and chatted with her.

Brother Windcloud Nine had it the roughest whereas Sister Windcloud Nine had it the easiest. Meanwhile, the three great pandas stood out the most whereas Li YI and Qian’er had the greatest firepower…

The Boss Mudman had yet to appear and yet Li Yi and Qian’er had already started going all out.

Li Yi’s ATK was incredibly overwhelming. The only flaw about it was that his AoE skill was not that great when G.o.d Mode was inactive. Take True Overlord Arrow for example, although it had a large AoE, the cooldown was simply too long. How could it fair against a Fire Wizard’s endless Raging Firestorm?

Li Yi’s ATK was without a doubt unparalleled when it came to single-target damage. However, he was no match for Qian’er when it came to AoE attacks. The Raging Fire could be used endlessly and the damage figure would fill up the entire screen. By the time all five waves of Mudmons had been eliminated, Li Yi’s damage value was around half of Qian’er’s.

“Hehe.”

Qian’er waved her staff defiantly as she looked quite satisfied.

“Let’s reset the value and have a compet.i.tion with the boss. Whoever loses has to take off their pants. Are you daring enough?” Li Yi sent a private message to Qian’er.

“Bleh. how shameful.”

Qian’er would never bet on such a disadvantageous bet.

“Pollute this territory and the world shall be ours!”

Mud bubbles started appearing at the center of the region as a three-meter tall Mudman crawled out of the ground.

It was the first boss from the Lostland Instance Dungeon, Mudman.

“Ugly creatures. Disappear along with my mud!”

The Mudman used a skill similar to an Archer’s Shoot at Random the instant it appeared. However, it was shooting out sticky mud instead of arrows.

Brother Windcloud Nine stood at the front and used his s.h.i.+eld to take cover while Li Yi and the rest hid behind him as they waited for the mud to stop flying about randomly. Other than Brother Windcloud Nine taking a few shots in the chests, the rest of them were fine.

A typical Main Tank would not be able to remove the mud on their own. However, since Brother Windcloud Nine possessed the Territory Skill G.o.d’s Blessing, it would remove all the debuffs on him in a fixed period of time. Hence, the speed of the mud sticking onto the players were ineffective against Brother Windcloud Nine.

The Mudman growled as he pounced towards Brother Nine but the latter swung out his sword without fear.

The average Main Tank would never dare to exchange blows with Mudman face to face. Brother Windcloud Nine was different as he had G.o.d’s Blessing. He was not afraid of the Mudman’s debuff at all.

This was the reason why Li Yi requested Brother Nine to a.s.sist him.

As Li Yi and Qian’er went all out, the three great pandas rushed in as well. However, they were not effective at all. They were incredibly motivated at first but their movement speed slowed down gradually as the amount of mud on them started piling up. Ultimately, they were engulfed by the mud and were soon forcefully deactivated as they lost their combat effectiveness…

The mercenaries could no longer be relied on since they could only be revived by the players at the temple. Although Li Yi had two mercenaries, the Panda Fighter that had pa.s.sed away had already occupied a slot, causing him to be unable to summon Alleria to the battlefield.

Li Yi and Qian’er were both range characters. Hence, all they needed to do was to cast all their skills while Brother Windcloud Nine tanked for them at the front.

The monsters’ level in the Lostland ranged between 140 and 150. However, the Bosses’ levels were all the same. They were all Level 160.

Li Yi was Level 150, and this meant that there was a difference of 10 levels between him and the bosses. Since the boss was not able to overpower him, the damages Li Yi dealt to the boss was the most stable.

Qian’er, on the other hand, was lacking in this. She was currently Level 142. Although her level was not low, there was still a huge gap from the Level 160 boss. Hence, her damage output would occasionally be high and low. It was very unstable and the difference could be seen over time.

Li Yi’s damage output was three times more than that of Qian’er’s!

It took only some thirty seconds before the Mudman entered phase two. Its body split into ten Mudmons as they chased after the party.

Sister Windcloud Nine was still laying on the floor. The Ten Mudmons’ SPD were incredibly slow under Li Yi’s Territory Barrier and they could avoid them easily as long as they were not surrounded by the Mudmon.

Fire Ice’s performance was out of Li Yi’s expectations as she was not injured at all after running for a few rounds.

Li Yi’s impression of Fire Ice was that her operational skill was definitely on par with Sister Windcloud Nine’s, which were naive and innocent.

The second phase of the Mudman fell upon them as the monsters started attacking them without discretion.

The mud would be impossible to dispel once it was attached onto the players. If all of them were to be hit by this, it would basically mean a party wipe.

The Mudman’s first target was Li Yi but the latter used Teleport within his Territory and evaded it easily.

The Mudman’s second target was Qian’er but she had used Flash beforehand and had already escaped.

When the Mudman went after its third target, Fire Ice, everything happened as Li Yi expected. Fire Ice ran naively straight and was without a doubt attacked by the mud and fell to the ground.

The two naive girls had fallen and there were the three of them left.

The Mudman had stopped spitting out mud as it rushed towards the center of the map. It started taking in a deep breath and healed itself.

Li Yi and Qian’er took this opportunity to start attacking it to the point the Mudman fell to the ground and turned into a puddle of mud.

The third phase did not manage to happen as the two’s output was so great that the Mudman was killed.

The Golden Achievement popped up and all five of them had obtained the Achievement “The Land After The Rain…”

Li Yi walked up and started using the Cardiac Pacemaker to save his party members.

The Lostland’s setting was identical to the Ancient King Series Dungeon. The monsters and mini bosses would not drop any equipment at all. Not even EXP. Everything could only be obtained after killing the final boss.

This was how it was supposed to be for the Ancient King Series Dungeons. It did not matter how much effort one put in at the beginning. Everything would be for naught if the players were not able to kill the final boss.

Li Yi’s party took a ten-minute rest after killing the first boss, Mudman.

“Let’s talk about the strategy to take out the second boss. Qian’er and I will be in charge of sweeping the monsters and everything will depend on Sister Nine if we’re able to kill the boss.”

“Depends on me? Me?” Sister Windcloud Nine was shocked as she widened her innocent eyes.

“You and Fire Ice will be in charge of killing the second boss.”

Sister Windcloud Nine tried to wave it off. “I… I can’t do it. I can’t do it.”

Fire Ice started panicking as well and stood together with Sister Windcloud Nine. Both of them did not have the confidence.

“Sister Nine will need to summon Tuhr Sacred Sword and Fire Ice will cast G.o.d’s Protection. The two of you don’t need to do anything else afterward.”

Sister Windcloud Nine was ecstatic when she heard the news. “Is it that simple?”

Li Yi nodded his head.

“I can do that. Dear, I can do it. Hehe!” Sister Windcloud Nine posed a peace sign with her fingers as she rushed towards Brother Windcloud Nine.

“Clank! Clank! Clank!”

The Tuhr Sacred Sword appeared.

Li Yi shook his head. “You don’t have to summon it now. I’ll let you summon it later and make sure you do then!”

“Why?”

Brother Windcloud Nine widened his eyes. “Put it away!”

Sister Windcloud Nine put away the sacred sword and did not question further.

Li Yi smiled and said, “When the monsters were cleared up and the boss sp.a.w.ns, there’s a probability of it releasing his one hit KO skill. We’ll all be killed no matter how much HP we have and the only way to avoid death is to cast G.o.d’s Protection.”

“Do you understand now?”

Sister Windcloud Nine and Fire Ice shook their heads.

Li Yi wanted to explain further but Brother Windcloud Nine brushed it off with his hands. “It’s fine. Stop wasting your time explaining it to them. It’s useless. It’s the same earlier. It sounded very nice on paper but did you see them taking cover when that thing shoots out its mud? Let’s play by ear later.”

“You’re right.”

Li Yi nodded as he agreed with him.

Ten minutes later, the second wave of Mudmon crawled out of the ground.

Compared to the first wave of Mudmons, the second wave was identical in appearance but the surface area was much larger. Their SPD had increased as well but they were still slow inside Li Yi’s Territory.

“There are a total of five waves and we’ll have to fight the boss once we clear the wave. Fire Ice and Sister Windcloud Nine, stand behind me and the two of you don’t need to do anything as long as the boss hasn’t sp.a.w.ned.”

“Okay!”

“I understand…”

The two ladies nodded and started running behind Li Yi.

Brother Windcloud Nine started running towards the group of Mudmons as he released Holy Light Impact.

Similarly, the Mudman’s strength had increased significantly. Brother Windcloud Nine had only run one full circle and his body had already stuck with a few slaps of mud. He would not have been able to move if not for G.o.d’s Blessing.

As long as the G.o.d’s Blessing was in effect, the mud on Brother Windcloud Nine would slowly fall off over time without any healing required.

Qian’er rushed into the group of Mudmons and cast Raging Firestorm. In comparison to True Overlord Arrow, the skill was able to forcefully knock back the enemies for some distance. She did not have to be afraid of enemies getting close to her as long as she had enough MP.

“G.o.d Mode!”

The Phoenix started crying as the sky in the Instance Dungeon was filled with fire…
