Another great thing about encountering boss stages was that it was free from the disruption of other parties. In other words, boss stages were like an independent dimension that belonged only to a single party.

Any party that had great luck would be able to encounter the bosses.

“The second one, eh…” Li Yi gave a cryptic laugh and pointed at the hundreds of treasure chests. He then continued, “The reason this tower is called the Tower of Remorse is not only because of the G.o.d of Death that resides here. There’s a literal meaning to it as well.”

Little Elf from the Magical Realm was confused. “What literal meaning?”

“The luck of the draw will cause you endless remorse!!”

“Huh?”

“The true meaning behind the Tower of Remorse lies not in the G.o.d of Death, Morse, but rather, the remorse you’ll likely experience from it. This tower contains all sorts of precious items. You’ve already seen the Orange Quality Weapons with your own eyes, but what if I told you that there’s something of an even higher tier than Orange Quality Weapons?”

Li Yi nodded his head. “Yep, so do you gals now understand why the chests are separated by different colors?”

“Yeah.”

The Cat that Sings gave Li Yi a thumb’s up. “F*ck, you really do know a whole-f*cking-lot, huh?”

“Any chest could contain the best reward. Alright, now that I’ve told you girls about the colors, you can go loot whichever chest you want.”

Li Yi stepped aside and made a gesture for the four girls to proceed.

“I’ll go first! I don’t care about equipment and I have no need for those trashy scrolls that could only be used once. Since I’ve already gotten the Red Dragon Queen as my mount, my only priority now are the pets. Off to the purple chests I go!”

Jiaojiao ran toward one of the purple treasure chests, gripped the chest by its sides, and vigorously opened up the chest.
