Mu Chenyan knew that although Yuan Tian had only recently returned, she was probably already fully aware of the events that had transpired over the past two years.

“It’s all over now! I’m sitting here and talking to you now, right?”

Her indifferent expression did not appear to hide anything, whilst her calm tone seemed to harbor no feelings of resentment. Moreover, her previously elfish and abnormally large eyes were completely still, making it seem as though Yuan Tian’s heart had truly grieved.

Yuan Tian tugged at Chenyan’s sleeve somewhat emotionally.

As Mu Chenyan spoke, she used the wooden teaspoon to stir the tea leaves inside the teapot before using the strainer to filter the newly boiled beverage for Yuan Tian.
