An Xiaxia had long ignored the possibility that she was walking into Sheng Yize’s trap — she even made a happy phone call to Su Xiaomo, saying, “I’m going home with Sheng Yize in his nice car! Haha, don’t be too jealous! Bye!”

Su Xiaomo’s snarl came from the other end. “What the h.e.l.l? You’re indeed one of those heartless women, putting your man before your friend!”

An Xiaxia retorted, “He’s not my man. We’re just friend –” Before she could finish the sentence, Sheng Yize s.n.a.t.c.hed the phone from her hand and said something to Su Xiaomo before promptly hanging up.

An Xiaxia watched with her mouth open.

“Um… that is my phone, right?” she asked hesitantly.

“Of course,” said Sheng Yize with a smile in his eyes. “But since you’re my anti-fan, I’m going to take charge of your phone. Otherwise what guarantee is there that you won’t trash me online again?”

“Have some faith in me! I promised I wouldn’t do that again!” said An Xiaxia, trotting after him.

Sheng Yize kept one hand in his pocket and looked genuinely delighted.

An Xiaxia’s man — that was a pretty nice t.i.tle.

An Xiaxia got into the car with her short legs and nagged him about the right to use her phone all the way back home.

Sheng Yize finally tossed the phone back to her when they reached the An family home. An Xiaxia held it with both hands, glared at him, then stormed off upstairs.

Inside the car, the driver sighed in amazement. “Young Master, I see you’re very fond of Miss An, aren’t you? I’ve never seen you say so much to a girl before…” And from what he saw in the rearview mirror, the young master’s eyes had followed Miss An the whole time!

“Uncle w.a.n.g, don’t you think you’ve said too much?” said Sheng Yize in a chilly tone. The driver shut up right away and didn’t say another word.

However… shouldn’t he inform the old master about this?

The weekend.

An Xiaxia was still happily having a lie-in when she was woken up by a phone call.

Picking it up, she saw the flashy caller ID on her screen: Buck Sheng the Devil.

That was the new nickname she had given Sheng Yize recently.

She picked up and groaned, “What?”

“‘The Tale of the Banished Immortal’ is having a stage photoshoot today and Rong Che will be there.” Sheng Yize hit the bull’s eye right away and successfully persuaded An Xiaxia.

“Aaah! I’m getting up right now! Sheng Yize! I mean, Boss Yize, Idol Yize, please wait for me!”

Sheng Yize concealed the smile on his face, changed his clothes, and waited for An Xiaxia downstairs.

After getting into the RV, An Xiaxia was met by He Jiayu’s polite smile first. She then saw Chi Yuanfeng with two dark circles under his eyes as he slurred, “Xiaxia, wake me up when we get there. I need to catch up on my sleep. I stayed up to play video games last night.”

“Yes!” An Xiaxia was drooling over his cute face.

Sheng Yize narrowed his eyes and darted a displeased look at Chi Yuanfeng.

Chi Yuanfeng shuddered in his sleep despite himself.

The vehicle soon arrived at the studio for the photoshoot.

An Xiaxia helped to carry the sundries and followed closely behind the other three.

They had just gotten to the entrance when a figure moved gracefully toward them. The man stopped in front of Sheng Yize with a smile. “It’s been a while.”

Rong Che! That was Rong Che himself!

Little pink hearts were flying out of An Xiaxia’s eyes and she swore she could jump the man right there and then!

“Yize, let’s go.” Frowning, He Jiayu tugged at Sheng Yize.

“Wait a minute. Our Rong Che should be the one going in first, right?” Rong Che’s manager suddenly spoke, and the air seemed to freeze at those words.
