Sheng Yize’s face was so dark as he turned away, refusing to look at An Xiaxia.

An Xiaxia stormed off.

The two parted with ill feelings.

She angrily took the elevator to the first floor, where she was immediately surrounded by a swarm of reporters.

“Miss, how come you just came down from Captain Yize’s floor? What secret relations.h.i.+p do you two have?” With that question, all h.e.l.l broke loose and a million harsh questions were thrown at An Xiaxia.

“Miss, are you Captain Yize’s secret girlfriend?”

“How long have you two been together?”

“How intimate did you get?”

An Xiaxia was dumbfounded. Hadn’t they stopped all the reporters at the entrance? How did they get inside the hospital?

Little did she know that because of the great number of reporters, they had breached the first line of defense. They couldn’t get upstairs yet, thanks to the security guarding the elevator and the stairs. Unfortunately, An Xiaxia was caught coming out of the elevator.

Since Chi Yuanfeng and He Jiayu wouldn’t say anything and they had interviewed Rong Che and Li Fanxing, who had given them very little information, An Xiaxia’s sudden appearance made the reporters excited for some gossip.

An Xiaxia could barely keep her eyes open with all the flashlights. She covered her eyes and tried to push her way out, but was trapped inside the crowd by all sorts of questions. And people were pus.h.i.+ng her around — she felt like she was going to be crushed!

“Does Captain Yize have any little habits when kissing?”

“Miss, did you court Captain Yize first? What was it like?”

“Is it because you didn’t want to go public with the relations.h.i.+p? Did the company force you or was it Captain Yize’s request?”

The reporters pressed on and An Xiaxia felt like her head was going to explode.

Go away! Why were they all asking her these odd questions?

A strong male reporter saw that she wouldn’t say anything and shoved her to prompt her. “Just say something! Now!”

An Xiaxia was knocked into the wall, which made her b.u.mp her little head. She lost her balance and fell to the floor, which was a rather sorry picture.

Li Fanxing, who was protected by her manager and on her way out, snickered at this. That brainless little fool! Surrounded by those shameless reporters that would trade anything for a little gossip, An Xiaxia wasn’t getting out of this in one piece.

“F**k! What’s wrong with you people! Get your a.s.s out of my way!” someone bellowed, astonis.h.i.+ng all the reporters.

The crowd turned around in unison and found a teenager with short brown hair standing there, looking very c.o.c.ky. His handsome face had impatience written all over it as he strode near and actually lifted the man who had shoved An Xiaxia up off the ground. He looked malicious as he asked, “Did you push her? I’m gonna chop your hands off and feed them to the dogs!”

It was a childish threat, but he said it with enough vigor and ferocity that the man’s lips quivered.

“You’re lucky that I’m in a good mood today! You’ve just won yourself a one-day trip to the police station!” He waved his hand and a few bodyguards in black suits showed up behind him to pick the man up and take him away.

He then shoved the reporters away, gave An Xiaxia a hand, and said impatiently, “Little Dummy Xia, you’re coming with me!”
