“Why didn’t you tell me they did this to you! I’m gonna beat the s.h.i.+t out of them!” Qi Yanxi ground his teeth.

A drop of rain slid down An Xiaxia’s delicate face, making it look as if she was crying. Qi Yanxi felt his heart skip a beat.

He reached out and boorishly wiped the water off An Xiaxia’s face. “Say something! Don’t play mute!”

An Xiaxia wasn’t going to respond and stood as far away from him as possible.

Qi Yanxi was stunned. He realized that An Xiaxia was rejecting him.

He took a deep breath and for the first time in his life, yielded to another person.

“An Xiaxia, I won’t go after Kang Jian any more. And I promise I’ll stay away from your friends from now on!” To his humble declaration, An Xiaxia only gave a one-word reply with the tiniest voice, which brought the flames of fury back into his eyes. “What the h.e.l.l do you what? Now I can’t even apologize to you?”

An Xiaxia looked up with an innocent face. “I’m waiting for my bus home.”

“Oh…” Qi Yanxi cleared his throat awkwardly. “I’ll go with you.”

An Xiaxia looked at him and asked, “Do you have any money on you?”

“Why?”

She opened her palm and said in a tiny voice, “I only have one yuan here and that’s only enough for one ticket.”

Qi Yanxi rolled his eyes and took out his phone. “Wait here. I’ll ask my driver to pick us up.”

The call went through and in a despotic tone, he told the driver to get there in ten minutes with a male and a female outfit each.

Before he finished his phone call, a luxurious Porsche stopped in front of them.

The driver in white gloves got out first, opened a black umbrella, and then opened the door respectfully.

A stunning face looked at them from inside. The teenager gave them an indifferent glance, got out, took the umbrella, and went up to An Xiaxia.

“Get in,” he ordered.

“d.a.m.n you, Sheng Yize. How the heck did you get here?” Disgusted, Qi Yanxi grabbed An Xiaxia by her arm. “I’m sending her home and it’s none of your business!”

Sheng Yize asked unhurriedly, “Who do you want to go with?”

An Xiaxia was baffled.

She glanced at Sheng Yize’s nonchalant face and recalled his words…

She bit her lip. “I’ll be fine taking the bus… you don’t have to do this.”

Sheng Yize’s face darkened.

Just as An Xiaxia thought he was going to leave, Sheng Yize sneered, gripped her thin wrist, and pulled her into his arms.

“Are you really not coming with me?”

An Xiaxia was dumbfounded. All she could hear was his low, alluring voice.

He threw An Xiaxia into the car and swung around to face the fuming Qi Yanxi.

“s.h.i.+t! Did you just steal my girl?” Greatly agitated, Qi Yanxi struck out with his fist.

Unexpectedly, Sheng Yize didn’t dodge and let the punch land on his face.

Wiping away the blood at the corner of his mouth, he smiled coldly. “Don’t worry. I’ll be visiting Uncle Qi with this mark on my face!”

Qi Yanxi gritted his teeth so hard that he thought he would crush them!

The bitter squabbling continued until the driver said gingerly, “Young Masters, I think Miss An… has pa.s.sed out…”
