Rong Che softened at those pleading words together with her adorable little face.

He put down the wrench and smiled. “Alright. But from now on, you have to do everything I say.”

An Xiaxia nodded obediently, but her fingers had reached into her pocket for her cell phone.

Those stalwart men hadn’t frisked her, which had left her a window of opportunity.

Rong Che picked up a candle and only realized then that he didn’t have a lighter, so he left the room to borrow one.

An Xiaxia took out her phone right away. It had been on mute when she was at the compet.i.tion. That was the most important reason why no one had discovered it yet.

She dialed Sheng Yize’s number. Instead of crying for help, she hid it inside her sweater against her stomach after the call went through.

Rong Che came back with a lighter. He lit the candle and smiled at An Xiaxia. “Give me your hand.”

An Xiaxia gritted her teeth and knew better than to irritate him at that moment. She stretched out her fair and smooth hand.

Rong Che pulled her sleeve up, revealing her forearm, which had the same porcelain skin. He looked pleasantly surprised. He then tilted the candle with a smile and let the wax drip down.

An Xiaxia shuddered. Rong Che asked, “Does it hurt?”

“No…” She was being perfectly cooperative.

Rong Che nodded with satisfaction, when the girl changed the subject. “I’m so nervous. Can you talk to me? I’ll do whatever you want.”

“I see you know how to behave…” Rong Che snickered. “Alright. I hope you won’t cry in a moment…”

An Xiaxia forced a smile and glanced around the room. “This place smells like fish and it’s so damp. There’re so many fish tanks… Are we in an aquarium?”

Rong Che raised an eyebrow. “You’re a smart one. Now, take off your clothes.”

“One second…” An Xiaxia interrupted and the man glared at her, disgruntled.

In order not to enrage him, An Xiaxia picked her words carefully. “It’ll be so cold if I take my clothes off… Can you turn the heater on, please?”

“This place has long been deserted. Where am I supposed to find a heater?!” Rong Che rolled his eyes at her. Just then, Jian Xin’er’s crazed laughter came from outside, together with the voices of a few guys.

“Hey, since when have you become this nice? You found us a girl?”

“Do whatever you want with her, as long as you keep her alive!”

Rong Che’s face darkened. By then, those people had entered the room. Jian Xin’er realized what was going on and said in a mocking tone, “Why, I see someone is smitten. Don’t tell me you want her all for yourself?”
