Mr. Song’s eyes lit up for a second when he saw An Xiaxia, but the look on his face turned indecipherable in the next moment.

“Do you want to join me?” he kindly offered.

“Thank you, but I’m afraid not. She’s in a bad mood and I’m still trying to cheer her up.” Sheng Yize smiled in resignation.

Mr. Song was intrigued. “Why is that?”

“Because our school won’t take us camping…” An Xiaxia said sulkily. Sheng Yize flicked her forehead with a finger and she realized she was being inappropriate. She immediately put her hands over her mouth.

Mr. Song watched her adorable reaction with a gentle look on his face. “So, you’ll cheer up if you can go camping?”

Why was this Mr. Song… so weird…

Sheng Yize left with An Xiaxia after exchanging some pleasantries.
