“How can you believe everything Xiaxia said?” Sheng Yize was laughing so hard that his belly ached. “Gosh, this is hilarious. I’m laughing my head off over my dumb little wife.”
What? An Xiaxia nibbled her finger and only realized then that Sheng Yize had tricked her!
He couldn’t act so relaxed if he had really killed a man!
“Are you nuts? You should have come clean right away!” An Xiaxia gave him a punch, but Sheng Yize said earnestly, “I was just very moved by you sticking up for me unconditionally.”
He saw that she would be on his side no matter what, even when he had supposedly killed a person.
