The mysterious caller chuckled coldly. “Just wait and see! You’re going to pay for this!”

The call ended abruptly.

She went on talking, not knowing what she was saying. Sheng Yize rubbed her head and asked gently, “Was it this difficult for you back then as well?”

An Xiaxia opened her mouth, dazed.

“You knew it…”

“Yes.” He had found out a long time ago, but had been waiting for An Xiaxia to tell him herself.
