She nervously looked away, the memory of what he had mouthed to her from the stage flas.h.i.+ng through her mind…

He couldn’t possibly still remember her…

How could it be possible… It must have been her imagination!

An Xiaxia calmed herself down and continued to head up the stairs without turning back.

“Sheng Yize, I never thought that you would show up at our school! Aaaah! I’m feeling so excited I could just die!” Jian Xin’er chattered on while Sheng Yize only replied every so often with an “oh”; even so, she still had a hard time restraining her excitement.

When they finally got to the eleventh floor, Jian Xin’er seemed determined as she took a deep breath before saying, “Sheng Yize, I’ve only watched you on television and I really like you! Never in my dreams did I expect to see you! Now that I’ve met you in person, I can die with no regrets!”

Sheng Yize politely nodded. “Thank you for your love and support.”

Jian Xin’er was like a crazed follower who had lost all rationality, so when she saw Sheng Yize’s bland response, she felt an urgent need to prove her feelings to her idol.

She bit her lip and then proceeded to do something that shocked An Xiaxia —

Jian Xin’er threw her broom aside, rushed over to the edge of the roof, and climbed up.

“Sheng Yize! I can prove my love for you with my life!” she exclaimed at the top of her lungs.

An Xiaxia was scared out of her wits. She was so shocked that she was both speechless and helpless to do anything.

Heavens, was this the legendary pig-headed ¹ fan?

“Jian Xin’er, right? Do you have any idea what you’re doing right now? That’s enough,” Sheng Yize said with knitted brows, indicating his impatience.

“I… I really like you. So if you don’t accept my love, I’ll jump down from here!”

“Eh? Be my guest. But if you do jump… are you sure you won’t regret it?”

Jian Xin’er seemed to hesitate and was at a loss what to do as a gusty wind swept over the rooftop.

An Xiaxia felt like she was going to explode. Heavens, idol or not, was letting a woman jump off a building something a man should do?

She recalled all those media outlets that called Sheng Yize “cold-blooded, emotionless, and self-important.” Before, An Xiaxia had only used those as evidence to squabble with his fans. However, she was now starting to believe that those were actually Sheng Yize’s real traits!

Hmph, this guy was definitely a bad person!

An Xiaxia had always lived by the motto that saving one person is better than building a seven-storied paG.o.da so she stepped forward and said, “Sis, don’t take it too hard! Life is great and even if this b.a.s.t.a.r.d doesn’t love you, there are still plenty of handsome men out there!”

Jian Xin’er shook her head as she shouted, “I’m not listening to you! I won’t listen!”

An Xiaxia tried again. “Listen to me, I’m also trying to tell you that your skirt…”

“I’m not listening!”

An Xiaxia continued, “You know the wind is really strong today…”

“I’m not listening!”

An Xiaxia didn’t know what to do with her anymore so she could only shrug and say, “Fine, I just wanted to let you know that you’ve been flas.h.i.+ng us.”

Jian Xin’er froze for two seconds and abruptly let out a tragic high-pitched scream. She then frantically pulled down her skirt.

“You’re such a pervert!” Jian Xin’er shouted at the top of her lungs.

An Xiaxia felt wronged and retorted, “I’m a girl. How am I a pervert? If you want to yell at someone, then yell at Sheng Yize. He probably saw it too…”

Sheng Yize coughed and then looked away.

However, to Jian Xin’er, his cough sounded like mocking laughter. She fiercely stomped her foot before pointing at An Xiaxia. “You… you… you… I know who you are. You’re the idiot who climbed the wall this morning!”
