Xixi jumped off Gu Juexi’s lap and asked for two oranges—one for her and one for her brother. “The rest is yours, Mommy.” Xixi declared and took the prized oranges to her brother.

“Weiwei raises her well.” Wen Jie leaned back against the sofa and looked at her granddaughter lovingly. Her mood had been lifted by her adorable gestures.

“It’s Xicheng. I used to be very busy, so Xicheng took care of her most of the time.” Ye Yuwei didn’t take the credit. For most of Xixi’s life, she was brought up by Ye Xicheng.

Gu Juexi rolled her eyes irritatedly, disagreeing with the remark. The little monster was not friendly to him at all.
