Zhen Xiu saw that Lu Jian was looking at her with a soft look on his face. While she was inspecting her s.p.a.ce he had promised to protect her and after that, he didn't say anything more. She believed that he might have slept after his sincere promise.

"You are awake." She asked him gently.

Lu Jian continued to glance at her. He wanted to capture this moment in his memory, her serene look and lazy eyes looking him; her soft lips whispering at him.

"Why are you looking at me like this?" Zhen Xiu asked him unconsciously, his stare was making her feel weird. She wanted to turn away from his intense gaze but was not able to turn away from him. It felt like he has locked her in this place.

"Like what?" Lu Jian asked her.

"Like, you want to… trap me here!" She responded breathlessly.

Lu Jian moved closer and whispered in her ears: "I do!"

Zhen Xiu took a deep breath after he confirmed her thoughts; his closeness was making her feel strange emotions. She could feel her heart racing faster, her body was sensitive due to his nearness.

"I want to cage you here for eternity." Lu Jian whispered softly, held her hands and brought near his heart: "Feel it! Can you see why I want that?"

Zhen Xiu shook her head dismissively.

"Because I want to be caged in your eyes too!" he revealed. "I want to spend my life with you together and away from this world."

Zhen Xiu's eyes reddened after he whispered those words. No one in her entire life has said something like this to her. She had tears in her eyes, not because of these words but because of the emotions, she saw in Lu Jian's eyes.

This is regarding my updating schedule. As you guys know that I am a student and my updating schedule is rather weird. As a reader, I know you hate it when I don't give you regular updates and trust me I also feel the same when I read a book and the author is not updating fast enough. I know it feels really bad.

But I really have a major problem because I am a biology/law/physics/chemistry student and this gives me like less than 6 hours to rest. Although my typing speed is fast I don't get enough time to write more than 1 chapter a day and now that my exams are approaching it is being really difficult for me.

I am not telling you all this to gain your sympathy or as an excuse of not giving you stable updates but explaining my position and difficulties.

I don't have any stockpiles for my story so the updating schedule becomes like this when I don't get any time to write a new chapter.

So, after my ranting, I want to inform you that I will keep on updating daily for now.
