For Lu Jian, it was his end if she decided to leave him and go on in her life. He was already immersed in her too much that he can't imagine his life without her; she was like a lifeline and without her, he was nothing.

Zhen Xiu saw his forlorn face and was stunned.

Why was he behaving like a sad puppy?

"Lu Jian, you are okay?" she asked him doubtfully.

Lu Jian was silent. It was difficult for him to make out a thing. Why was she behaving casually? After hurting him; telling him that she didn't care about him, how was he going to be okay now?

Lu Jian turned around and stood up from the bed trying to leave her s.p.a.ce. Just because now he has feelings for her it doesn't mean that she needs to reciprocate it with her own feelings. He didn't want to impose himself on her.

He knew if she knew his thinking about her this will be the outcome. Why did he do something like this? He shouldn't have done this.

On the other side of the bed, Zhen Xiu was dumbstruck because of this new situation. She knows that her acting was pretty good but she was not acting now. Not at least in front of him. Why was he accusing her then?

She was clueless why was Lu Jian behaving in this manner. She was already new to all these emotions, feelings, friends and the most dangerous love which connects her to Lu Jian. She was a simple person before but after coming in this world although she was liberated she still has to deal with people she has never interacted in her life.

How would she understand these familiar loving emotions?

"Lu Jian! Stop! right there! What do you mean by acting?" she walked towards him in long strides, trying to catch up to him. Her short legs were rather slow and she was not able to hold him.

She shouted at him. This was her only choice now. If he wants to be unreasonable then she will be more childish then him. No one can beat her ruffian childish behavior in this world. "You…!" She controlled her breath. "Dear stop! I am warning you."

Lu Jian halted but didn't turn to look at her. A small ray of hope emerged in his heart after she asked him to stop. He wanted to see if she will really let him go. He wanted to know if he really didn't have any chance anymore.

Zhen Xiu finally reached him and pulled his s.h.i.+rt. She was so angry at him.

"Are you stupid? I am shouting like a hyena and you still don't stop. Is this your redemption?" she asked him angrily.

Her chest was rising fast, her breathing was becoming abnormal and her fair face was turning red from the blood rush.

Lu Jian didn't respond. He was standing like a frozen ice block waiting for the cutter. Zhen Xiu snickered at his appearance.

He was good looking but he exceeds his charm when he tries to overact himself; such a loser.

"What? You are deaf too? Do you have a split – personality?"

Lu Jian wanted to keep quiet but Zhen Xiu quickly got his motive so she threatened again. "I dare you to keep quiet. You will see how terrible I can be?"

Zhen Xiu was angry. This jerk was trying to act smart in front of her. Who was she? She was such a good person.

This cold- face beauty was troubling her now and then. She needs to cure him permanently.

"No." He quietly denied the serious allegations.

"You think your words are gold. Speak up! Be a man!" Zhen Xiu provoked him.

Lu Jian was shocked to see her temper. This was his first time watching her like this. Before her accident she behaved like a proper lady, never showing something bad that will lose her chance to make him like her.

She was definitely changed after her awakening from the coma. Lu Jian decided that he will be careful from now on or else this angry bird might pop up again. For now, he needs to control the situation. "I don't have any split personality disorder nor am I deaf Zhen Xiu. I was hurt when you said that you don't feel anything about me. I don't want to impose myself on you so I was taking my leave but you have a problem in this too."

Zhen Xiu was confused. "Eh! Can you speak in human language? Please!" she blinked her watery eyes at him.

"When did I say anything like that; you are misunderstanding everything right from the start."

"Misunderstanding? How? I mean didn't you say..." Lu Jian raised his question.

But Zhen Xiu placed her forefinger against his lips and cut his words in between. "Shh! I don't want any more problems. Let's return to our room first."

She smiled after Lu Jian followed her wish.

"You are nuts!" Zhen Xiu smilingly told him. She was insulting Lu Jian but like a compliment.

She pushed him down on the bed and sat next to him.

Lu Jian's ears turned red after hearing her words. He wanted to refute her statements but was not able to because of her hands playing with his hair.

He wanted to tell her that he was not abnormal and his brain is in good condition too. This was all because of his strange heart that he was behaving like a complete loon.

"I was not literally saying that I don't feel anything. It was the answer to your silly questions." Zhen Xiu continued.

Lu Jian wanted to say that those questions were not silly but Zhen Xiu stopped him again.

"AH! No, be quiet. They are silly questions for me truthfully speaking. I really don't have anything against you.
