When Mu Dian issued her the gift, he wanted to say something but felt a little bit embarra.s.sed. In his heart, even if his own master and Gu Xijiu had broken up, they used to be lovers. At the very least, he should have given her a more special gift.

Mu Dian felt like wanted to buy something else to give to Gu Xijiu on behalf of Celestial Master Zuo. However, he could not go against the order of The Lord.

The wind outside was wildly harsh on Chinese New Year's eve. Most people were busy at home, so there were not many pedestrians on the street. When the wind blew, the drunken feeling started to take its effects on Gu Xijiu. She could not see clearly and had blurry eyes. She seemed to see Di Fuyi vaguely.

Her transport was still waiting outside. When she walked out, her servants and driver came forward to carry her. Gu Xijiu felt fl.u.s.tered in her heart and did not want to sit in her ride. She asked the driver to leave first, and she tried to walk in the snow to released her tipsiness.

The driver followed her instruction and left while Gu Xijiu proceeded to walk alone on the street. Her dress fluttered in the wind. Since she reached such a high level of spiritual power, she was not afraid of any coldness anymore. She was only wearing a jade-white sheer dress on her right now.
