The wrist he grabbed seemed to be cold and hard with sharp edges. It almost cut his hand. Instead of grasping Gu Xijiu's wrist, Zhu Duqing caught a sharp sword! Furthermore, the person who was holding the sword was actually Di Fuyi! Zhu Duqing took two successive steps backward and found that the wizardry barrier had been broken.

Meanwhile, Yun Yanli also stumbled and almost fell to the ground at that moment. His handsome face was now green and white. Upon catching his breath, he said, "Di Fuyi, you have not been concentrating on the fight!" 

When the two of them were fighting, Yun Yanli was utterly overpowered by Di Fuyi. He had resorted to using his full strength to attack Di Fuyi while risking his defense. He wanted to force Di Fuyi to go on the defensive. However, he did not expect Di Fuyi to suddenly rush out of the wizardry barrier and settle matters with Zhu Duqing.

From his actions, it was evident that even during the battle, he had diverted his attention to Gu Xijiu. Yun Yanli thought that even if he would not be able to defeat him, he could at least give the man a challenge and force him to use all his skills. He had certainly not expected the man to be thinking about other things during a clash with him.

There was no doubt in his mind now that there was a huge gap between them. Yun Yanli then realized that he had sold his soul and sacrificed his life to cultivate and improve himself but was still unable to best a child! If that were the case, what was all of this for?!

With a pale face, Yun Yanli stood weakly in the barrier. All of a sudden, he vomited a mouthful of blood. The conviction that had always supported him as a mountain collapsed. His body trembled as he said, "Di Fuyi, kill me!" 

Di Fuyi did not look at him. Instead, he pulled Gu Xijiu into his arms and asked, "How are you? Have you been hurt?"

Gu Xijiu felt a warmth in her heart. However, she seemed to giggle all of a sudden. It would appear that he regarded her to be as fragile as a piece of paper. In actuality, Zhu Duqing did not touch her at all. So why would she have been hurt?

In fact, she was trying to teleport away when Zhu Duqing was just about to catch her wrist. Even if Di Fuyi did not rush out to save her, she would still be safe. Nonetheless, she liked his care for her, so she leaned her head in his arms. "Fortunately, I have you. I am fine."

Di Fuyi then kissed her lips. "Be careful; don't let that pig get you. "

Zhu Duqing was speechless. He was a bamboo, not a pig! His eyes narrowed as he suddenly smiled. "Di Fuyi, your return seems too timely."

Di Fuyi faintly replied, "Of course." He looked at the man and asked, "Who are you?"

At that point, Zhu Duqing removed the disguise on his body, revealing his real face. "I am Mr. Bamboo. Devil King, don't you know me?"

The crowd looked at each other as if searching for answers. Many people had heard of Mr. Bamboo from the Devil Kingdom, and of course, they were aware of the existence of the Devil King. But what were the two of them doing here? No one expected them to come to the ordinary cities. 

Humans and devils had always been enemies. The people here had an intuitive fear of the devils, so the onlookers who had already been close to the battlefield were now stepping back. 

"Mr. Zhu is just your pseudonym. I am asking you who you really are." Di Fuyi was not a fool. He continued, "If I am not mistaken, it is you who is the culprit behind the scene! Am I right?!"

Zhu Duqing looked down. After a brief moment, he seemed to look up again with a smile. "Why do you think so?"

"I am only asking for clarification. Are you having trouble answering my question?"

This problem had obviously caught the attention of the crowd, who were all curious as they had been personally affected by it. Countless pairs of eyes looked over as they waited for Zhu Duqing to answer.
