Di Fuyi took some time to consider his options and decided not to surrender his power. He stayed away from Xijiu and started abusing her emotionally.

They visited a lake, the place where their relations.h.i.+p started. It was the place where they first went boating. He took her to the blue boat again and slowly sailed on the lake with her. He even asked if she had any wishes that he could fulfill for her.

Xijiu told him that her only wish was to break up with him so that she could return to Fan Qians.h.i.+. With a smile, Di Fuyi opened his arms as he replied, "All right, I shall grant you your wish. Let's hug for the last time as a farewell."
