"Honestly, when did you last sleep?" Gu Xijiu turned herself around and laid her body flat on his body. Her gaze was still locked on his eyes.

Di Fuyi s.h.i.+fted his body a little and pulled her away. "Try not to lie on your body. The baby might get hurt," he said while putting her down by his side. He had a point.

Gu Xijiu did as told. "You have not answered my question yet," she insisted.

Di Fuyi slowly caressed her hair. "For the whole time that you were away."
