I was just staring at the resources in front of the Grimm Monsters with shocked eyes when I heard the formation buzzed.

As it did, the resources in front of the Grimm Monsters began to melt, the formation began to extract their essences, and those essences began to seep into the runes with the energies of three prime resources, which are getting smaller and smaller by second.

My heart couldn't help but burn to see that; I really needed those two resources, and if they continued to be spent in less than a minute, they would completely disappear with any hope from me getting it.

A minute had pa.s.sed by, and essences from the resources had been extracted and merged with each other before they flowed into the runes.

I am currently studying the formation I am trapped in, and I could not find any way to break it; there are no leads in my mind. The formation is very sophisticated, and it is connected with the formation carved across the huge hall that I did not get to study.

I was studying the formation, trying to find something that would give me leverage, when suddenly, I saw the runes appearing below me and begin to climb over my body. I tried to resist, but with my energies sealed with the energy of Master cla.s.s Tyrant in me, I am very much restricted.

I am not the only one who is experiencing this; the others also going through the same. Through the hazy protection, I could tell how they were struggling to stop the runes, but it did not seem to be working; these runes were too powerful to stop.

Soon, the runes have covered every inch of me; there is not a single part of me that hasn't been covered by the runes.

The runes had just covered me when I felt a buzz from the runes as they began to s.h.i.+ne faintly; as that happened, I felt pressure on my heart or rather my bloodline; this formation is trying to suck away my bloodline, seeing that my eyes couldn't help but widened up.

I immediately understood what these three Grimm Monsters were trying to do, and horror couldn't help but appear on my face.

They are trying to do what Green and Silver runes do; they are trying to suck our bloodlines, and if I am not wrong, then they will purify it through this formation and feed it to their own bloodlines, making them advanced.

In and cruel and horrifying way, I understood better than anyone else as I harvested the Bloodlines of Grimm Monsters for my progress.

The bloodline phantoms appeared behind the Grimm Monsters, and even though the hazy layer of formation s.h.i.+eld, I could tell the changes occurring in the bloodline of Grimm Monsters, it is getting stronger.

My gaze was attracted by Elina, and I couldn't help but shook; she had fallen on the floor and now withering crazily as the formation sucked her bloodline. Not only she but the others also behaving the same; they looked like they were in extreme pain.

Compared to them, I am fine; I am only feeling slight pain in my chest.

It is understandable why I am not behaving like them; my bloodline is not a real bloodline. It may have the same aura as the real bloodline, which would fool others, but it is not a bloodline like their's which came from a higher source and marked into the world.

The formation is not having any effect on me due to it using the wrong tools. The formation is like a straw to suck the water from the gla.s.s, but in my case, the straw would never reach the gla.s.s. It would just hover over it.

I watched my friend and fellow humans in horror and started to study the formation even more desperately, but the formation was too tough, and I did not have time to thoroughly a.n.a.lyze it, much less find a way to break it.

"Ahhh!"

The Grimm Monsters seemed to understand the formation was not working on me for some reason when suddenly runes covering me blazed, and I felt immense pain in my heart which had spread through my body.

The cracks began to appear on my bone, and my flesh began to split; the Grimm Monsters have suddenly increased the pressure more than ten times; even then, it was not able to suck the bloodline out of me, but it had invertedly started to affect my body.

I had screamed out loud, and I tried to harness my healing energies and rule power, but I was only able to 10% of their powers due to restriction. I was even able to use the 10% because of the rule-bending power.

I wish I could use my bloodline right now, but I felt like using the bloodline under such pressure would not be wise

I am trying my all to whittle away the restrictions it had placed on me, but they are powerful and would need time to break them, a time I don't have.

The pressure of the runes is too powerful; if this continues on, then I would not survive for more than five minutes; even surviving four minutes would be a stretch.

Seeing the state and state of my friend, I had finally asked Ashlyn for help. If anyone has the power to save me right now, then it is Ashlyn; only she could help me, but no matter how much I pleaded with her, I did not receive any answer from her; seeing that horror couldn't help but dawn in my heart.

Seeing Ashlyn might not be able to help, I began to consider other options I had; I searched and searched as my condition worsened when I finally found something. While it might not be able to save me, it will surely teach the Grimm Monsters some lessons.

It is not enough, but it is all I could do due to the vast power difference between us.
