"We should act now," Marla said as she had placed five bricks-like artifacts around Micheal. These bricks are sealing type artifacts that would have no problem in sealing Master cla.s.s Tyrant, and above as long as they are willing to provide the energy, these artifacts could seal anything

"Wait for a little; the artifacts are charged beforehand; we will be able to activate them at a moment's notice," Finn said as he felt the aura of curse increasing in Micheals's body.

Seconds pa.s.sed by painfully, as the aura of curse grew, the hope in the old Finns heart died down little by little before it had disappeared entirely.

"Maybe fate did not want our academy to s.h.i.+ne again," Old Finn said with a disappointed sigh. "Marla activates the sea," He was saying when he stopped midway as he sensed a completely different aura from Micheal, an aura that is the opposite of curse.

Feeling this aura is like finally seeing the suns.h.i.+ne after an endless night.

'This curse b.a.s.t.a.r.d!' I cursed in my mind loudly.

This b.a.s.t.a.r.d had created a fail-safe in case it had somehow failed to take control over my core and get eradicated. It had left its clone hibernating very deep inside me that even I could not be able to sense it.

Nero had sensed it, and now his blinding purification light is burning it as it burned the cursed b.a.s.t.a.r.d in my core.

Soon, the clone had burned to Ashes, and the radiant light receded toward the Nero in core before it even disappeared from the core, and Nero came out of the core.

"Father, I have eradicated that vermin and every trace of it; it would never trouble you again," Nero informed happily. "Good job, Nero. Without you, I would have died by the curse's hands," I said to him gratefully.

Hearing that ecstatic smile appeared on his face, which he tried to control and bring the serious expressions which made him look even cuter than he already is.

"It is nothing, father; I am sure you have been fine," He said, still happy with the praise I have given him.

There are many questions I have to ask Nero, especially him calling me father, which is making me quite unforgettable, but I decided to hold on to those questions and focus on completing my breakthrough which, I hadn't finished yet.

The changes are still happening in the core, but it will be finished within a few minutes, and I will have the Inheritance Core, which I wanted so much.

The core now very much looked like a world. If my core is shown in a telescope, an astronomer would have no doubt about it being a world. The spinning planet with clouds and faint landma.s.s floating inside it are the signs of the world.

From the books I had read, the properties and look of the core are dependent upon the materials and formation I had. I had used a creation material which literally used to create the world; it is no surprise my core looks like a d.a.m.n world; I wonder whether it had got the properties of it.

I was watching the core maturing when suddenly I noticed something; I saw water coming out of the ground of my core speedily, it was coming out from everywhere than within a second, it had filled the whole world, submerging the huge floating continent, leaving only tiny island above.

The sudden appearance of the sea seemed to be affected the whole core; the world had become vibrant, and the island was barren before now had some greenery.

'Nero, is that water part of the curse?' I asked when I felt the presence the water was giving off is similar to that of the curse.

"Yes, it is its essence; it is completely purified and would be very useful for your core, father," Nero informed, and I had finally taken a sigh of relief before happiness welled up in my heart.

I had read in the Hermes library that the essence of artificial life is extremly precious. They are something that is produced after many trials and tribulations, which makes them special life, and their essence is extremly useful.

I had already seen the benefits it could give me, and they are just trailers of the real thing which I would receive in the future.

The core had finally matured, and I had readied myself to receive the amazing benefits I had worked so tirelessly for in the past year when suddenly something different happened; three streaks suddenly came out of nowhere and burrowed inside the core.

"f.u.c.k!"

I followed the streaks with my consciousness and found myself standing on the island, which is full of strange energy which energized my whole body.

I did not have to think to know where I am; I am in my Inheritance core. It is the place that could have a river of my bloodline energy and lake which is filled with powerful essence energy.

The three streaks entered in my core are my Inheritance core is in front of me, around, and in the lake. The lake contains the thickest essence of purified curse and also other energies, which is likely why the mysterious s.h.i.+eld had burrowed itself inside the lake.

I am quite amazed seeing the s.h.i.+eld in one piece, seeing the dents and sheer amount of cracks present inside it. Looking at it, I am sure the s.h.i.+eld would break into pieces, even someone like my sister tapped on it gently.

Beside the lake is my Refinement Tower, whose eight floors had been lighted up; I would have lighted up the ninth one if I had not faced the restrictions. My totem artifact, on the other hand, is floating above the lake, pulsing gently, an indication that something about to happen to it.

The appearance of a totem artifact and refinement tower in my core is strange. Usually, they did not reside in the core in this early stage, but the normal rules did not apply to my core.. It is core with rule-bending power as its primary element; it will do things that will be impossible for the other cores to do.
