"General," I said as I appeared in the command center, "Dexter, take a seat," He said and offered me the seat to his right.

All the masters are sitting at the table looking at the fifty exact screens in front of them, all of which are black.

"A minute ago, I had received the mail from the pyramid that there will be an important broadcast in a few minutes," He said. 

"Do you know what it is about, General?" Hans asked, "No, the only thing I know that pyramid said it is important, and so it should be something important," He replied.

Hearing his answers, all became quiet and stared at the black screens.

Seconds pa.s.sed and turned into minutes, and minutes turned into two; it was the third minute when we were staring at the screen when suddenly screens began to light up one after another till forty-seven screens lit up in front of us, and all of them are showing the battles that are being fought intensely.

It only took a few seconds for us to a.n.a.lyze all the battles and find out what is common between them.

All of the battles have numbers between a million to five million, and in each battle, the weakest member is Prince while the strongest is Master cla.s.s Tyrant. Not all Master cla.s.s Tyrants are fighting or visible; some of them are invisible.

"All of them are mid-level battles; why are they showing us that?" Martha asked, "We will know the reason soon enough, Marla," General said, and second after that, a slight change had occurred; it is quite noticeable, even if it did not affect the battle in any way.

The crystal roses of different colors appeared on the hands of six masters, who were visible and not fighting. They showed the roses with a flourish. Some even looked a little awkward doing that before dropping the crystal rose down on the battlefield.

"What are these crystal roses, and why did they drop them?" Victor asked, but n.o.body answered him as they focused on the roses that were descending through the air.

The Grimm Monsters seemed to sense the danger from these roses, and they attacked to destroy the roses, but the human Masters appeared in front to save the roses. The roses were still attacked by the Grimm Monsters from below, but attacks did not affect the roses.

All the roses are covered in the energy of the masters, not to mention even defense of these roses are powerful enough to bear at least one attack of the Master.

All the roses fell down, and for a few seconds, nothing had happened before a bloodcurdling scream rang out from the Grimm Monsters where rose fell, and a huge f.u.c.king vines appeared and began to spread in all directions at extremely speed, capturing every Grimm Monster that came in its way and instantly sucking it dry and spread further into a different direction.

Within a few seconds, the th.o.r.n.y vines consumed hundreds of Grimm Monsters and spread in all directions; now, they are consuming hundreds of Grimm Monsters every second, and the number is increasing every second as vines spread crazily far and wide.

"My G.o.d!" Hans muttered, seeing in the horror happening in the five battlefields, and it is just a beginning as a couple of seconds later, the vines begin to appear on the battlefield after battlefield till it appeared in every one of them.

In every battlefield they could see, they saw vines crazily expanding while sucking the Grimm Monsters dry. It did not matter whether the Grimm Monsters were princes or unranked Tyrants; these vines were sucking every Grimm Monster that they captured dry.

Only Elites and above are able to get away from them, but not in all the battlefields.

In the eleven battlefields, the vines have captured elite Grimm Monsters and sucked them dry, while in four battlefields, they have captured a leader, and in one, the vines have even captured a Master who is now fighting for his life as it tries to get away from the vine.

The Grimm Monsters are attacking the vines indiscriminately, but it does not have any effect other than them getting captured by vines and sucking them dry.

There are attacks that are affecting the vines, the attacks of the elites, and above. Some of them were even able to cut the vines, which makes things even more difficult, as it did not stop the vines. Instead, the cut vines spread even faster, capturing, even more Grimm Monsters and using them to further their growth.

"What in horror is this!" Victor said out loud, but n.o.body had the answer to that; some have, but they did not speak as they watched the greatest nightmare for the Grimm materialize as it made them run for their lives, and that also seemed to be useless as vines seemed to be chasing them.

The usage of weapons is quite common in the war, but they are rarely used unless the weapons are unique that the enemy had not dealt with before.

Through the thousands of years of war, we have a way to deal with the common weapons of both sides, that we did not use them anymore in the battle, as they are just a waste of resources.

The only weapons we used that are truly unique, the ones that take considerable effort for the enemy to deal with or the ones that are found in ruins and the enemy have no way to deal with it. Such weapons are rarely found as most of the time, powerhouses choose to believe in their own power than some weapons.

"f.u.c.k, that vine killed a Master," Martha said shudderingly as she saw the Grimm Master who got captured by the vine had lost the battle and got consumed by it. Its essence helped the vines grow exponentially, that with the power of Master, the vine was even able to capture seven Elites and two leaders who were running away.
