The power of the seventh wave is beyond anything I had imagined to it be; it was so immense that the moment it landed on my s.h.i.+elds, it began to crack them. There was not even a second of a wait before the cracks began to appear on my s.h.i.+elds.

The power of the attack was so great that a tiny fraction of it pa.s.sed into me, and it had immediately injured my internal organs and forced me to vomit their bits are piece.

Thankfully, the cracks stopped spreading but the joy of that was short-lived as the Apeman had lifted its hammer up again and even more energies than before began to gather on it, scaring me even more.

I could tell the Grandmaster Atkins wanted to help me against it and even attacked the Apeman, but these attacks would never reach the Apeman, as the other two peak Grandmasters are using all their strength to stop her attacks.

The Apeman shouted as its attack charged with worldly energies and brought its hammer down toward my s.h.i.+elds.

The attack looked extremely powerful, and the only consolation I have is that all the cracks on my s.h.i.+elds have been healed. Though it does not much matter, seeing the power of the attack, the cracks will begin to appear the moment the hammer touches my s.h.i.+elds.

The hammer stuck on the s.h.i.+eld, creating the shockwave that spread far and wide while huge cracks began to spread into one s.h.i.+eld after another.

Several of my bones cracked rapidly while I spewed out blood with bits and pieces of the internal organs.

The attack was so powerful that it shook my body, and I was barely able to control myself from falling to my knees, but I survived the attack, somehow, but now it lifted its hammer once again for the last time, and things did not look good for us.

"It is taking the energies from the ocean!" Grandmaster Kaff said in shock; he is not the only one who is shocked; I am too shocked as well.

For this final attack, it is not only gathering the energies from the surroundings but also from the ocean, and the energies coming from the ocean are thick and powerful, that just feeling the aura of the hammer makes me shake all over my body.

Seconds pa.s.sed, and the hammer was still gathering the energies; the eight attacks before did not take more than two and half seconds to charge, but it was already five seconds, and its attack was still charging.

It roared loudly after thirty-two seconds of charging the attack before bringing it down.

Suddenly the hammer coming toward me had disappeared; it had just faded, leaving behind just a nine-layered wave which now began to release an even more powerful aura than the hammer did earlier.

There was no information of such a thing happening during the final attack, and it couldn't help but be surprised.

Like any sane person, I don't like a surprise that came from the enemy, as it means the complications. Such complications could kill a person, and I don't want to die, at least not yet.

"Die, Human!" It shouted right at the moment its attack crashed against my s.h.i.+eld, and this time, I really did feel like I might due to seeing the power of the attack.

The wave of immense power crashed into my s.h.i.+elds, and huge cracks began to appear on my s.h.i.+elds. These cracks are bigger than all the other cracks, and they are spreading into my s.h.i.+elds at an extremely fast speed that I fear that it won't be long before my s.h.i.+elds would shatter apart.

I was barely able to maintain my control over them as I collapsed on my knees due to the sheer power of the attack; it is already a miracle that I didn't fall unconscious directly.

BANG BANG BANG

As the huge cracks spread around my s.h.i.+elds, the power of the attack began to leak through them and shatter the defenses the Grandmaster had placed.

These defenses are extremely powerful, even able to bear a few moves of the peak Grandmaster, but now they are shattering apart like gla.s.s the moment power of the attack hit them, and I feared my s.h.i.+elds would shatter apart like these s.h.i.+elds in a few seconds.

BANG!

The last of the defenses shattered, and the leaked power of the attack had hit us all directly, shattering the individual defenses we had erected on ourselves.

Thank the G.o.ds, I had placed the Grimm Monsters around us, and out of self-preservation, these b.a.s.t.a.r.ds have activated their defensive s.h.i.+elds, which I let them do that.

They have taken the most of the blow; the time when the power hit us, it had less than half of its power.

Everyone is heavily injured, including me, but I have lost one Grimm Monster, and the thing is, the danger is far from over, the cracks are still spreading wildly, and I am still very much in danger of dying in the next few seconds.
