Crack Crack Crack…Bang!

An exploding sound rang out, and the soul cleansing method reached the second level. Instantly, the visuals of reality became much clearer, and my connection with my clone deepened, and now, I could circulate the method much faster and get benefits.

The biggest of them all will be getting rid of this psychedelic that is still covering all my soul, trying to infect to the core. 

Even with the 2nd level of soul cleansing, it will be difficult, but now with it, I have a much greater chance, and it will be quicker.

Still, it is quite shocking that I have reached the 2nd level of this soul cleansing method in less than half a day, while Marina had taken one and half years, and she was considered faster in centuries.

The method was left behind by her excellency rooswelt without any information about it, except that everyone should practice it, and it has 12 levels. This is why we called it method 12, and like all the soul cleansing methods, it is slow and does not give that great of result.

Though I have changed my mind about that thing, it is extremly useful in fighting psychedelic energy, and I wouldn't have been sane without it.

A few minutes pa.s.sed, and I became quite surprised by the soul cleansing method. It is working much better than I had antic.i.p.ated. Now, my connection to reality had become quite strong that now, I could control my body and even my strings if I wanted to.

Though I did not do that, I am still very much in danger, and unless I wipe away all the traces of the energy, I will not touch the strings.

It took twenty minutes to wipe away half of the spycheliac, which weakened the hallucination by a lot, but they are still strong enough to keep me trapped in the world of psychedelic hallucinations.

It took another ten minutes and a total of 80% removal of psychedelic energy before I was able to break out of the psychedelic world, but the hallucination did not go away; they are now existing with the reality around me. Still, very dangerous.

Seven minutes later, I had cleaned my body of the psychedelic, and now there was not even a speck of psychedelic energy on my soul.

"f.u.c.k!"

I cursed when I looked at my soul; the changes have appeared in it were shocking. I directly compared it to my meta-scan before appearing in this ruin, and now, and the changes my soul had gone through in a matter of hours in shocking.

My soul had already been quite pure for its level, and now its purity had increased even further. Its benefits have already become evident; these will help me more when I will make a breakthrough and create a second clone. 

The creation of the soul requires a huge amount of pure soul power, and it seems like I will have to practice this soul method and find a way to advance it further. Creating the second clone in the next stage going to be much harder than the first clone.

'a.n.a.lyse the soul,' I commanded my clone and turned to the wolf b.a.s.t.a.r.d, which was still attacking the s.h.i.+eld. I could even sense a few High-Grandmaster monsters, which have gotten quite close. 

I will need to kill this b.a.s.t.a.r.d, and it would be good if I create some sort of show. So, the other monsters would think ten times before attacking me because even with the advancement of my soul, I am not a match for these monsters.

"You have nearly killed me, you b.a.s.t.a.r.d, and if I pay you for that, then I wouldn't be Micheal Zaar of my name," I said with a smile and waved my hand, and with it, the s.h.i.+elds disappeared.

GROWL!

It growled at me and leaped before disappearing and appearing directly behind me; with the power of the boosts and cleaving set, my sword moved to leave behind a faint silvery radiance.

CLANNG!

Its claw stuck against my s.h.i.+eld and shook; for the first time since our battle began, my attack had affected it physically. It should not be surprising; the attack it had launched had been too powerful, and it had cost it a lot, weakening it so much that even after an hour, it was not able to recover.

Which put it on the same wagon as me; it had to win and show its might. If it does not, I will kill it. If it runs away, the monsters watching in a shadow will tear it apart.

"Hehe, this is just the beginning," I said to the wolf and repelled its claw before attacking with another powerful attack.

CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG

Within a few seconds, the battle had taken an opposite turn; from dominating me, I began to dominate it, forcing it to disappear in retreat, and it could not do anything else. As its powerful psychedelic energy has weakened so much that my armor is able to spot it.

Though I am letting some of it touch my soul so I can continue to practice the soul cleansing method at a ferocious pace.

It is a risky thing to do and cost me a fortune with the usage of soul-was.h.i.+ng formation. I am willing to take risks seeing the benefits it is providing to my soul.

Rip!

Finally, after exchanging hundreds of blows with it, I was able to able to avoid its claws and manage to land the attack on its skin. I was planning for a neck, but I had to go for a back before the b.a.s.t.a.r.d disappeared and appeared a hundred meters away from me.

GROWL!

It growled lowly as its aura became stronger; the rise is not much, but it is enough to tell me the wolf is using all its power, and that made me cautious. Earlier, I had been caught off guard, and I did not want that to happen again.

HOWWWL!

I thought the wolf would attack, but unexpectedly, it howled; it was the first howl since we had begun fighting, as this monster usually growled.

Hun!

As it howled, it disappeared, and my expression changed suddenly when I saw what was happening. 'The b.a.s.t.a.r.d really has some dangerous moves,' I said to myself before a smile appeared on my face.

'You should have used this move earlier; you might have been able to kill me, but now there is no chance." I said and pulled. At that very moment, the wolf became visible, and it was directly in front of me, with its claws just inches away from me. 

Its melding was so perfect that my thick cover of soul sense which forms a sensory sphere, wasn't able to detect it at all. It is a good thing; my clone was able to wrap the strings around it when its psychedelic energy had sent it to wonderland.

"It is time for you to die!" I said and swung my sword at it with full power.

Pachak!

My sword cut through it, dividing it into two. I only killed the Grimms this way, but I had to make a show, and this seemed to be the best way.
