Chapter 2655: Fis.h.i.+ng I

'It is a little far, but on the way,' I said to myself as I looked at the way. I need to reach there within an hour as I don't think the battle would last more than an hour; it could be finished within a few minutes, for all I know.

"Ashlyn, could you see what is happening inside the domain?" I asked while already starting to move toward the battlefield, which is on the way toward my destination; it is the main reason I decided to take the risk of hastening my travels.

Ashlyn denied she could see through the domain, whose ability to stop anyone from spying in it. It is not even produced the aura, and the only reason that it isn't being sworn my monsters, but still invoking a domain is quite a risky move.

I am sure, if it had any choice, it wouldn't have done it.

I could ask Ashlyn to enter the domain, but I did not; instead, I asked her to patrol around to watch for danger. I have a good guess of Grimm's strength, and since its domain is hanging in there, I know I am right about it.

Against one on one, I am no match for it, and nor do I want to fight against it in such a tough environment. I would be more than happy if I fish out a few benefits, mostly kill it through the hands of monsters.

It would not be too difficult but would be very dangerous, as the monsters would be attracted by it and which will cause a danger to me. So, I have not decided on using that strategy; if there is a condition of trading my life with it, I will absolutely not do that.

Half an hour pa.s.sed, and my body had turned completely sweaty; in this half an hour, I had taken so many risks that I had not taken in the four days since I had come to this ruin.

I had pa.s.sed by four High-Grandmaster monsters. 

Those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds are f.u.c.king everywhere; just a few minutes ago, I had to jump over a sleeping High-Grandmaster, as either it was that or get discovered by worm High-Grandmaster, which was releasing very powerful seismic waves in the territory.

I have reached close to the domain; ten more minutes and I would reach it. If it had been outside, I would have needed a few seconds to cross such a distance.

Thankfully, the domain is still active, so I should be able to reach there before the battle is finished. Though it would finish any moment, nothing could be said without a doubt.

I moved, and after eight minutes and pa.s.sing a High-Grandmaster, I reached my destination. The domain is about a mile distance away from me, and I could get close, but it is the closes I am willing to get to it.

The domain is invisible; I could not see through my eyes, and even most of my ocular abilities are useless against it. It is the domain of one of the top a.s.sa.s.sins in our world; before me, it was known to make people disappear, and most of them would never be seen back in the world.

Still, I do have some abilities which let me see it, but they are not enough for me to tell what is happening inside.

Though, I am not worried about that, as my precious strings would solve that problem soon enough. They have already reached the domain sphere and are now slowly pa.s.sing through it without alerting the host. 

This is much harder than one could imagine as the domains are the places which one has absolute control over; even the smallest developments would be sensed by the host, but not my strings; I am confident of it.

My strings released the soul sense filled with the rule-bending power, and immediately my silent world was bombarded with bright colors and deafening sounds.

CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG

The domain is a world of the night compared to the bright day outside, but the figures become visible every moment, especially the two rainbow eyes monkeys, which are clas.h.i.+ng against the Urta of the Black Mantisman tribe.

The monkeys have dark yellow fur and diamond eyes, which s.h.i.+ne in the dark brightly. One would begin to feel the hallucinations.

Its sharp blades are clas.h.i.+ng against the long nails of monkey monsters, which are big as me, and seeing their size, one might even think they might be just malnourished apes, but no. They are monkeys, their physiology, movements, and fighting style is all monkey.

They are powerful; handling even one of them would be difficult for me, and now the Urta is fighting against two, and it will have to bring out even more power than right now if it wants to do something against these monkeys.

Its condition is not good but is not bad either, the same with monkeys, who had few injuries on their bodies.

These monkeys are not only attacking with their long nails but also through their diamond eyes, which are sending sharp beams of psychedelic energy. It was avoiding most of them with its speed, but some of them were striking it.

'That purple brick seemed really powerful,' I said to myself; there is a tiny brick that is floating above the Grimms, which would absorb most of the psychedelic energy; more than 90% of the energy would get absorbed by it, but that is not making it happy.

Every time the psychedelic beam hit, its face looked like it had eaten s.h.i.+t, and I could understand why.

The purple brick is an extremly powerful artifact, and the only reason it is even capable of fighting against the monkeys but this powerful artifact is consumable in nature. Each hit would consume it faster, and after observing it for a while, I could tell more than half of its power had already been drained.

"You b.a.s.t.a.r.d monkeys. If you had met me outside, I would have drained your blood and flayed your skins already," It shouted and went toward the monkeys in fury who declared before disappearing, making the whole domain dark as a starless night for a moment.

They appeared the very next moment and clashed.

I have to say, this domain is quite powerful, not only it isolating sound and aura but also absorbing the powerful shockwaves created by the attack. The small area in the domain had been utterly destroyed, but on the outside, everything was fine.

Twelve minutes pa.s.sed, and three of them continued to battle. They have acc.u.mulated a few more injuries, and the purple brick floating above the head of Grimm became even more. The main reason for Grimms burning anger is its inability to do anything against these frustratingly strong monkey monsters.

I could tell it was becoming desperate; that brick was its lifeline in this ruin, and these monkeys seemed to have wasted a lot of chunk of it. If I had been in its place, I would have been angry and scared, as these would not be the last enemies I would face, and I would need that brick for what was next to come.

"You d.a.m.n monkeys; you have forced me!" said the Black Mantisman, and it looked down on the tiny monkeys. The powerful bloodline aura exploded out of its body. It was powerful that it had immediately stopped the frustrating deckering of the monkeys.
