Chapter 2684 7 Regions

“The Luminescent ruin can be roughly divided into seven regions; the third region is controlled by us, while the fifth region is controlled by the Grimms, and we are fighting for the other five regions,” said Lord Yazdi as he widened up the rough map in the center of the command.

“The report had said the Grimms are making the big headway into the 4th region,” I said, pointing at the fourth region, which is between the third and fifth region.

The Pyramid had provided me a dossier of information, which had all the latest information about the ruin.

“Yes, it could be said to be; they now control half of it, and this fourth is extremly important to us; it is the only region aside from the third and fifth the Master could survive,”

“The other four regions are too dangerous, forget Grandmasters, even I was nearly killed there a week ago,” he informed, and I nodded. That would be the sixth region; there are things there that could kill even a High-Grandmaster.

“What do you want me to do, Lord Yazdi?” I asked directly. “Lord Zaar, I hope you will help us defend against the Grimms other danger while our people harvest resources in region 4,” He said. The plan is straightforward but will be filled with danger, especially when I have responsibility behind me.

“Grandmaster Rhea, your mission is even more difficult; you will explore region six for resources,” he said as he turned to Rhea.

“As you wish, Lord Yazdi,” she said respectfully.

“When can I begin?” I asked, “In the morning, the nights are very dangerous here,” he said and before started to brief us with great detail. It took about an hour for him to tell us everything; I had a few doubts about what I asked, and some of the answers even excited me.

“I will take a tour of the surrounding,” I informed and flew out of the command through the open widow.

The protection formation did not stop me; it wouldn’t have stopped, even if Lord Yazdi had ordered it; my access is much greater than his, and so is my position. He is the commander of this fort, but he has no authority to order me; it is completely up to me whether I want to follow what he says or not.

Though I am going to follow his orders, he is a good commander from the record I had seen and also quite powerful, able to hold on against most of High-Grandmasters.

He is on the list of people I am planning to add to the project, but it will take a little time before he can start with the treatments as there are restrictions. Even after three months, the council is unwilling to let me work on more than three people, and two of three need to be in optimal conditions.

This is kind of disappointing; it would have been more efficient and fast if I had nine to twelve High-Grandmasters to work on together; it would have saved me a lot of time and resources.

Though, next month I am planning to be a little forceful with the council; I will ask them to increase the number by at least one and remove the condition of them being battle ready; there are some treatments that require days, which currently, I could only perform on one person at a time.

I flew out of the castle and saw the beauty of the luminescent forest even more clearly; it is not just the forest that is s.h.i.+ning in luminous light, but everything, from soils to hills to even monsters, which usually like to unnoticeable.

“What a dense mana!”

I said as I took a deep breath in the sky; the mana of this ruin is exceptionally dense and filled with destructive luminous energy.

Those below Masters could not bear it; even Masters had to drink a specially made potion every few hours to fight off the energy; without it, the pores and blisters would start to appear on their bodies, and their condition became like that of those present in the infirmary earlier.

Hun!

I was flying toward the forest when I suddenly stopped, and the sphere of pink light energy formed in my hand, and inside it was s.h.i.+ning violet energy.

“Luminescent Energy!” I said; I had just been attacked by invisible luminescent energy. It had formed in front of me by gathering luminescent energy before shooting toward me; it would have definitely harmed a master if they had struck them.

The luminescent energy is invisible, as I had said before, but it could be easily sensed and avoided. Though, there are some especially powerful, like the ones that attacked the group earlier, which could be harder to avoid, even by a Grandmaster.

I looked at the violet energy before sending it to my core; I had to a.n.a.lyze it, as till now, people have barely any idea what it is made of.

Though from the a.n.a.lysis that was done a few years ago, it is said that these energies made of various residual attacks remain in the ruin, and a peculiar type of energy, this ruin, is absorbing from the cosmos.

This ruin is quite unique; aside from the mana, it is also absorbing a unique type of energy from the cosmos. I wonder if this had been since the ruin broke off from the world or if its original world had also had this ability.

I have read that some worlds have abilities to take natural energies of the world aside from mana; it is very rare, but it happens.

These worlds are very unique and produce the treasure that no regular world would produce. This ruin also had such treasures; the best of them all is a luminescent pool, an amazing thing to strengthen the body.

Though, I heard that those things were dangerous and that most people were not willing to enter inside it despite its obvious benefits.

“It’s beautiful, father,” Nero said as he appeared on my shoulder, “It really is,” I said as I looked at the glowing trees below us. If this place hadn’t been so dangerous, I would have marked it one of the places I want to take marina for date.

Thud!

I flew over the forest for a while before landing softly on the ground gently before walking gently among the glowing trees.

There was no purpose of me coming out of the forest other than enjoy the beautiful scenery; though I had sent Ashlyn to scour the place, it would make things quite easy tomorrow.

“This variation of drawer gra.s.s is quite different,” I said softly as my strings brough the glowing gra.s.s to my hand. I have been observing the flora and fauna of this place, and it has interested me greatly.

I have been using some of the resources of this ruin for a month in the project, and in my time here, I plan to research them even further. This ruin provides a huge number of resources; if I could expand the number of resources of this ruin I could use in its project, it would help the project a lot economically.
