Xin Yong ran into the elevator and prayed earnestly for it to close faster. She keyed in her hotel floor number, and when the elevator opened she fled to their hotel room. Swiping the card, she pushed open the door and banged it behind her, rus.h.i.+ng to the toilet, she eased herself.
