Dream Star 10 Kindness 4

Due to the events of two days ago, she managed to get out of going to his place. However, Selia could feel her heart speed up as she walked behind Kiryu-san. This time round there's no escaping. Eventually they arrive at his floor in the condo, but there was a young woman waiting outside the door. Rather, she was sitting crouched down.

Kiryu-san walks over and picks the girl up.

Eh?

"Rosalia, wake up."

"Unn…Kiryu-kun?"

"Right. Are you okay? Did you drink too much?"

"I was dragged off to annoying after party."

"I see. I'll take you back later but freshen up over here. You can't go back out like this."

"Okay ~~"

So, Kiryu-san can also be gentle and kind. These past two days since she came, Selia formed a different sort of picture.

"So, who's that?"

"Is that you Nakinis.h.i.+?"

"Y--yes?"

"Sorry, come in here for a bit. She pa.s.sed out."

C--come inside? Calm down, he won't do anything. He won't. Nikki-san rea.s.sured her. But, why did he join this random woman in the bath? The walls here are too strong for her to know if anything happened. Selia, hesitantly opens the door. Steam filled her vision, and for a split second, she couldn't see anything.

"…Kyaah--" she stops herself in mid-sentence, when he grabs hold of her wrist.

"Pa.s.s me the towels."

"R--right."

Selia as much as possible averted her gaze, as she retrieved the towels from the rack.

"Say, this person…um, is she--"

"A friend."

Friend? But, the way he treats her? Isn't it different than other girls? Nikki said he was loyal, so perhaps this is his girlfriend. No, that's not right. His girlfriend is the one they were watching that day she arrived. She's seen the picture in his wallet too.

When they got out and Kiryu-san had placed the girl on the bed. The sound of his phone alerted them. Kiryu-san doesn't pick it up, and instead puts it in loud speaker.

"Huh? What do you--"

"My Kiryu!!!!! Waaahhh."

"Hey…Lila…you know we can't--"

"I don't care. Kiryu, I miss you. If I don't talk to you I will---"

From that brief conversation Selia understood, and quietly leaves the room. Once she was out onto the hallway, she exhaled deeply. That caught her of guard a bit. So that voice, belonged to his girlfriend. She sounds like a nice girl. Completely different from the image she saw portrayed on TV.

He can't believe it.

It really is her.

The two of them are going to get in so much trouble. But, just for a little while longer. "I love you."

"Wahhh, dummy, dummy!!!"

"Honestly, this feels like a dream. How long do you think we have till we get busted?"

"Um, this is Soichiro's phone so."

He wondered why Wataru was calling him using another number.

"Are you eating well?"

"Ah-huh, Harukkun takes me to extravagant dinners…Ah um, no, I shouldn't talk about Harukkun."

Recalling the words, she just said, he exhales deeply.

"It's fine. Rather, tell me."

"I'm sorry Kiryu, we've been kissing a lot!!!"

He did figure that Karas.h.i.+ma would touch her. But, isn't this happening too quickly?

She sounds really panicked, she probably doesn't understand the emotions in her heart right now. He gets it. This is part of her journey, to test the strength of her feelings. He understands. He should switch the phone of now. Rather, the moment he heard her voice, he should have ended it. But, she enters his dreams every day. He's always thinking about her. To at least her voice.

"Do you love him too?"

"Kiryu, is love and like the same? Because, I feel that I like him, but, my feelings for you always come forward so that thought never develops."

"Hah, thank G.o.d."

"Eh?"

"Mm, it's alright. " For now, but he won't say that.

"My Kiryu, I miss you. Do you miss me?"

"I miss you, I want to see you."

"My Kiryu, I have a mission soon."

"You want me to come?"

"Ah-huh!!!"

It's risky, but it doesn't seem like Nakinis.h.i.+ was given any orders preventing from seeing Lila. The real issue is Azua. She practically reports to his mother and Hisame-san every day.

"When?"

"The 24th!"

"Your birthday."

"En!!! Let's get all cuddly and have a mini date!"

Pfft. She's already making plans. Like this, it's still okay. He's still on her mind, no matter what Karas.h.i.+ma does. She'll still think of him the strongest. But, he wonders how long the two of them can keep doing this.

It really does feel like a dream, maybe that's why --his heart feels at peace. It's been a long time, since he last felt so at ease.

Azua is sharp, if his att.i.tude suddenly changes she'll know something is up. The only way for him to hide things now is... Kiryu walks in to the other room where he left Nakinis.h.i.+.

He's not good at making male friends.

His thoughts break of when Nakinis.h.i.+ starts playing the piano.

Oh, he's pretty good.

After a while of listening, Nakinis.h.i.+ notices he was there. Originally, he was embarra.s.sed but, eventually they started talking about music.

"Austin-san, did you....write all these songs? "

"Yeah, well half of them are written by me and my girlfriend."

"That's amazing! You're cool. "

"….…"

…. Odd.

Nakinis.h.i.+ is a guy, right?
But just now, that smile of his was almost cute even. He must be seeing things, he's been pretty tired lately. There's no way he would get a.s.signed a female a.s.sistant either.

Wah, wah, don't think about it! Even if Kiryu was being silly, don't think about it. That phone call really went smoothly. Didn't Soichiro find it suspicious that she was hogging his phone for a long time? Her heart is still beating so fast, her Kiryu. She really wants to see him soon, to be held in his arms again.

She feels bad about bailing on Harukkun. But she wants to make her preparations. It's almost her birthday, they'll see each other again soon. Maybe she should go to a hair salon, her hair needs tr.i.m.m.i.n.g. Ah, but it would be safer to if she cuts it herself. That performance of hers really did draw loads of attention. She's somewhat famous now... It was only one performance but then again considering the venue, and all that promotion. Harukkun, really is a good producer.

But still, she's no good at cutting hair. It should be okay right?

After parting ways with the girl from cla.s.s. The last thing she expected was to b.u.mp in to Harukkun in the middle of the alleyway. But sure enough, here he is. He's hurt. She immediately rushes over and bends down, she softly touches his cheek.

"Harukkun."

"…You..."

!! Ah, he's awake.

"That's nice, hearing my name being called by you."

Her cheeks redden, Uwaah.
Still, she examines his injuries and frowns. How did he get hurt? As she was thinking of possibilities, he slumped his face in her chest and she panics, "Ah um-"

"Lila..."

Hearing her name, her real name escapes his lips. Her gaze softens, this person. This person, she really wants to protect him.
