While he was waiting for her, Haruka found himself smoking a cigarette. Lately, he's even refrained from smoking in front of her. She really is having some sort of strange effect on him, "What's this, did you get dumped?"

His thoughts broke off as he heard a familiar voice.

"Jae-hee."

"Speak about yourself. Didn't the boss ditch you?" Haruka said with a deep sigh.

Jae-hee laughed, "Who is ditching who? I told him if he didn't let me come here, then I'd do a moonlight flight with one of his men."

Haruka stared at her in disbelief and exhaled deeply. This woman hasn't changed at all.

His thoughts broke off when he found someone watching them, and noticed blue hair in the corner.

"Come here," Haruka instructed. Lila nodded and made her way over.

"Um, you two know each other?" Lila asked.

"Yeah."

"Sadly so," Jae-hee said.

Haruka shoots her a glare, and Lila stared at them with wide eyes before clapping her hands. "Your good friends!"

Hah? Where on earth did she get that idea from? However seeing the expression on the girls face, he knew

Jae-hee continued to laugh, "Good friends, well perhaps in our own way. So, what about you two? Dating?"

Despite how casual the girl asked, Haruka sensed some hidden intentions. He quickly pulled Lila towards him, "Let's go."

"Eh um but --" Lila stammered.

"Go, right now."

Haruka's Apartment.

Lila woke up only to find that Haruka was still beside her. Her eyes widened slightly but they softened seeing how he was holding her hand. He really is like a child. Lila attempted to get up but found a wincing ache in her body. She shuddered slightly, did...did he do something to her? After that talk, they had in the library earlier the day? No, he's not that sort of person. She somehow managed to stand up and made her way downstairs. She should cook him something. Lila noticed how during lunch, he wasn't really eating much.

It didn't take long before Haruka woke up, of course, she noticed right away. Since he seemed to be staring at her intently.

"Haruka, you should…" her words were cut off when his lips fell on hers. Even if she refuses, she can't deny that Haruka is very good at kissing.

"Nnmngh…."

Her mind is going fuzzy again when Lila finally managed to pull herself away.

"Haruka, what's wrong--"Lila froze seeing his bloodshot eyes. Ah. This was the first time she had seen him lose control of himself this way. Even when he first touched her, his hanyou state did not activate. But now… Is it because of her?

"Lila.." his tone was filled with uncertainty.

She pulled him into his arms, sensing the pain in his voice, "It's okay, you can drink from me.

She didn't expect to get caught by senpai, but even then she continued. When she was sure Haruka was okay, she pulled back. He was silent for a few minutes, and she shook his shoulders, snapping him out of his trance.

"Haruka.."

"Sorry, just now. You should go after him." Haruka apologized.

Lila shook her head, he doesn't have to be so kind, "I'll stay with you."

"Really?"

Lila nodded, "Ah, I was cooking! Wait, I'll get it done--"he placed his fingers on her lips, "Haruka?"

"Let me kiss you again, for some reason it calls me down…"

The last thing he expected was to run into that sort of sight. Oujiro exhaled deeply. Why is he so surprised? He already heard about it from the others; and he's seen the two together on more than one occasion. They really do look like a good couple.

Lila turned to him with pouty cheeks, "Well, am I not allowed to sing this now?"

"Singing it is fine, but you were off key and p.r.o.nounced several English words wrong."

"Wah?! Which ones?! How embarra.s.sing.." Lila exclaimed.

He watched Lila ponder on this, cheeks still remained puffed up into a pout as she looked at the score sheet. Haruka's gaze remained gentle as he watched her. He really is lucky, having her by his side. Last year, when she chose him over Ichinose Oujiro he was genuinely surprised. After all, that guy has always held a special place in her heart.

"Clothes.."

"Yes?"

"Keep some here," Haruka suggested. Isn't it a pain for her to move things back and forth from the dorm?

The girl's cheeks reddened but she slowly nodded, "Okay."

Haruka sighed in relief, he didn't want to make a scene out of asking that innocent question. Besides, he really is worried about her.

"Lately, you look unwell. Are you alright?" he asked, concern filled his tone.

"Oh um, I haven't been sleeping much," Lila admitted.

"Sleep?" he repeated. Maybe he should stop leaving her. But he isn't used to staying by another person's side for so long. He isn't used to, being with someone altogether.

But now that he thinks about it.

Even that was slowly changing unless she is with him. He feels very restless and uncomfortable.

"Um, we're sharing the bed?" Lila asked, nervously.

"What's with you? You used to jump at the first chance to sleep in the same bed as me." Haruka commented.

"T-that's not true." she stammered.

"How about last night?"

At that comment, Lila's cheeks reddened. "So, with that said. Come here already."

She managed a nod and she climbed on. Seeing her turn away from him, he exhaled deeply. Being stubborn huh? "I'll stay from now on, so try to sleep," Haruka informed her.

"...Tell me something Haruka." Lila said.

"What?"

"Why do you like me? We barely got to know each other."

She's asking this now? Well, it does no harm replying, "That's true. Even if you are my first love, even I have standards when it comes to falling in love. Like for example, falling in love with someone I just met." he said.

"Ah-huh, so why?"

"But, don't you remember what I told you? You're different from all of them.."

"Don't ruin the moment," Haruka said. He wanted to scold her but refrained from doing so.

Haruka shook his head, "None of that matters." It never did. Whether she was strong or weak. He would have still fallen for her. Besides, it's not as though he didn't know, about her being weak. He felt her tug on his clothes.

Hesitantly he wrapped his arms around the frail girl, "Do you, still feel bad about this? You, it's not your fault."

"I get it. But some people would surely frown upon my actions. I should just reject you."

"Yeah," he muttered in agreement.

Even if he is a persistent person if she were to properly reject him. He wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

"Why...are you different?" Lila murmured.
