A certain blue hair girl stood watching the view of the town on the balcony. So this is the place Kiryu has been staying at. It's no wonder the media couldn't find him. This is a very remote town. But, Lila closed her eyes as she leaned on the balcony. It's a very beautiful place. Lila felt exhausted. Before they came here, they only just returned from the island before setting off again.

Lila no longer wished to delay it. She wanted to there the moment Kiryu woke up.

Her thoughts broke off when she heard the sound of someone leave the bathroom. Lila looked back and saw that Haruka emerged. She immediately averted her gaze when she saw a simple towel around his waist.

"Put on some clothes."

"It's just you."

"Why-why are we sharing a room?" Lila stammered. She doesn't understand how this was even allowed. A partic.i.p.ant, sharing a room with a judge. How much of his power did he abuse?

"There was a room shortage."

"Liar!"

Did he forget how he gave her his room key?

Haruka chuckled.

This isn't fair, for him to be doing this. Doesn't he know Kiryu is here? She doesn't want Kiryu to sense it. He's unfair. Lila walked over and wrapped her arms around him, as she buried her face in his back, "Do you hate me?"

"I'd hate you if you felt nothing for me. If you intended to use me like those other girls. But you have no ulterior motives getting close you just want to get close..right?"

Lila nodded.

"That itself should be dangerous.."

Lila felt his lips on her neck, and she shook her head. "Wait, not tonight…"

"You always say no, but shouldn't you be used to it by now?"

Used to it? Lately, she can't help but feel appalled with how shameless Haruka is these days. What made him think that she likes it when he drinks her blood in such a forceful manner? But, it's also true. That in contrast to the first time, he's not as forceful, and he seldom does it these days.

"Should I order something?"

"I'll make food. I bought groceries earlier."

"Are you my girlfriend?" Haruka questioned.

"I'm not."

"Maybe my wife."

Thump. Lila quickly picked up the grocery bag and made her way over to the kitchen. She was glad to see that the place, is stocked with necessary cooking utensils. He's an idiot. Lately, her thumping heartbeat has been getting worse around him too. It's not like she doesn't realize what's happening. Although at the start, she dismissed it as being an irregular heartbeat. However, even she understood the magnitude of this situation.

Lila felt his arms wrap around her from the back, "So, are your furious this time?"

"You haven't let me drink for you in days, and now you suddenly want to? With this timing."

"Do you really think he will feel it? During the first time.."

"Stop."

She doesn't want to remember the first few times he drank blood from her. She felt so scared and so terrified. The times he did it afterward were few, and yet, she still trembles. Haruka's lips brushed against her cheek, as he gently kissed her. Oh!

"Do you need help here?"

Lately, it felt like they fight; or at least end up in a dispute. It started ever since Haruka drank her blood and that failed attempt, but as of late, it felt like it was getting worst. Things seemed peaceful on the island for a while. But it at night it was tense between them. She understood how he suffered holding back and...her fear, her fear towards him whenever he held her... But she recalled her conversation with Kyoko-nee, towards this person.

Before Lila knew it, she raised her hand and slapped him.

"I was only joking; you don't have to take me so seriously…" Haruka's expression remained indifferent and cold as he replied.

Lila looked down, "Haruka, your jokes are too cruel… Too cruel."

"Is it? Aren't you the one being cruel to me?"

"You're contradicting yourself. You said you don't mind getting hurt."

"Did you really think it wouldn't hurt me? You jumped at the chance to come here." Haruka trailed off when they heard his phone. Recognizing the familiar ringtone, she clenched her fist. "Perfect timing, well you can stay here and think about how annoying you've been lately."

Haruka only just reached the door when Lila rushed over, and tugged on his s.h.i.+rt, "Wait."

"What?"

"Don't go," Lila murmured.

"Don't go? Why?"

He's cruel and unfair. "Please don't leave me.."

Haruka's arms wrapped around her then, as he wiped her tears away, "Your mine Lila. I'll make sure you understand that.."

23rd June 2035 (Rooftop)

Lila exhaled deeply; this part won't work. She crossed the lines she wrote on the music sheet on her lap. Lila had been searching for a quiet spot but couldn't find any. For a remote town, there was strangely a lot of people. So Lila made her way to the rooftop of an old building and presently sat against the edge. Guitar in hand. Kiryu is in this place, and soon they'll see each other again. The reason why she snuck off wasn't simply because she wanted to practice. But, because she received a message.

[I'll send someone to fetch you.]

Six words, from an unknown number. But Lila knew it was reliable. The words were filled with a familiar warmth. Kiryu, soon, they will see each other again. A whole month has pa.s.sed since they last saw each other. A lot has happened; she wondered if it's the same for him. Before he went to a coma, did he also develop strange feelings? To be honest, she isn't sure about it.

Her feelings for Haruka. Their relations.h.i.+p was already very complex before, but these days it's gotten even more complicated. Her gaze drifted on to her hand, and she closed her eyes as she recalled it. Him gently calling her name, and when he held her hand.

He's stupid. Lila knew will not forgive him, but why doesn't she stay away?

Stay by his side, huh? Indeed, although she heard those words in her dream. Haruka, has said something similar before. Haruka, is filled with contradictions. Kiryu finally lost it even though he said yesterday that he would stay put. He couldn't stand not being able to even play his guitar. Selia can be one mean caretaker; she practically watched him 24/7. So Kiryu didn't get the opportunity to play or listen to music.

If he will be bedridden, can't he at least be allowed to play music? He exhaled deeply, well at least he's finally outside. He overheard Sumire-san say that Lila should come soon. Kiryu knew Lila well, he would more likely find her in a place like this. Maybe that nearby hill? He saw it from the window of his room and thought it would be the perfect place.

He stretched his arms; he hasn't seen Lila in so long. He wondered if she was angry at him. For not being able to contact her, he wondered what happened between her and Karas.h.i.+ma in that time.

"Austin Kiryu?"

Kiryu exhaled deeply; it can't be helped. It is still a public inst.i.tution, "Yes that's me… I'm sorry, but I'm here for ---" Kiryu didn't get a chance to finish his sentence, when a beam of light brushed against his ear and landed on the spot in front of him, causing a large explosion.

Kiryu leaped back and finally got a look at the person. What a pain.
