Towards his powers and towards his family affairs. Kiryu's always remained distant from all those matters. His attention has always been on Lila and music, even the later involved thinking about Lila. When he was younger, many people attacked him. That increased more when he met Lila when he was four years old. Many believed while he and Lila are still young, they can beat them and steal their powers. However, it was futile. The Austin family forces or former members of Kaleidoscope beat them; and on the rare occasion, Lila.

The last part, however, was because he and Lila often had a habit of sneaking away from the adults. During those times, before he could even react, Lila has already dealt with the enemies. As a young child, she was made to stain her hands, and Kiryu always hated how he was only able to watch. He's seldom been in any fights, even when he grew older. The attacks gradually stopped anyway when they were older. But he's always hated how he's never been able to prove it to her, never been able to help her.

While he doesn't want her to get caught up in this, wouldn't it be cool if she caught him in this situation? Kiryu dodged the guy's punches, seeing the glowing light on his legs, he conjured up a flame and directed it at the guy's legs.

Explode.

Kiryu wasted no time before he conjured up his next attack. He felt it; there is a lot of them. At least 10. He should deal with this quickly. However before he could launch another attack, he heard approaching footsteps from behind him. There stood a man with dark brown hair, blue eyes.

"Ah, ah, what is this situation? Making a mess in such an open s.p.a.ce. Are you not worried about the authorities?"

This person. Kiryu quickly identified him.

Sound waves.

Tsueno Mamoru.

The cloaked person beside him though remained a mystery, and he didn't get the chance to a.n.a.lyze when the enemy questioned the older man's ident.i.ty.

"Who are you?"

"Me? Just somebody you wish you never meant." In a flash second, Tsueno Mamoru vanished and appeared beside the one with the gun weapon, he raised his hand and surrounded the weapon with the sound waves. Electricity sparked from the weapon and the top half exploded.

He wasn't done just there; he dealt with the other people in a flash. The sound waves altered colors, before they swirled around him, covering his body in light. In the next everyone was on the ground.

Kiryu stood there completely stunned. He's so powerful.

Something had blown the cloak hood revealing the person's appearance.

"Lila?!" Kiryu exclaimed seeing the blue hair girl beside the maroon-haired man. It was none other than his Lila. Her gaze meets his, and he noted her pouty cheeks. Uh, she's definitely mad.

"Shoot, she's here."

"The guy beside her to is no joke.."

"You're not the one who got your limbs broken…"

"Lilchan, don't use too much. Shoot from this point when I give you the signal." Mamoru instructed.

"Okay."

It was over in a matter of seconds, or rather there probably was no need for Lila to do anything. Mamoru-san's appearance already freaked them out.

Lila immediately rushed over to his arms, as she wailed, "Waahhh, wahh, idiot. Idiot. What are you doing? You just woke up! Why are you fighting?"

Well, he didn't intend to. He's the one who woke up the other night and is attacked the moment he took a stroll the next day. Well, he supposed this is the reason why Selia wanted him to stay put.

"Sorry for worrying you…" he murmured.

Before Lila could respond to him, he heard rus.h.i.+ng footsteps and found Sumire-san alongside Selia.

"Kiryu-kun? Argh, I told you to stay p---" Selia stopped the lecture. Her gaze landed on the girl in his arms, "Who is that?" she asked.

"Oh, this is…"

Lila frowned when she saw how the girl casually gripped on to the edge of Kiryu's top. Cant this girl see that she and Kiryu are hugging! Can't she see it? Maybe she was wrong about this girl. It can't be helped if Kiryu likes somebody else now. After all, her own feelings have been swaying. However, it hurts seeing this scene.

She felt her vision go blurry, "Lila?" Kiryu asked.

"Ah, I'm okay. I used up too much power.."

"Hmm, I guess her apt.i.tude is slightly different." Mamoru brushed past her, "Nothing's between these two, don't worry and let it affect your health."

Oh!

He winked before he made his way over to her mother.

"Idiot!!!"

Hearing the loud exclamation from Sumire-san, Kiryu blinked. He's never seen Sumire-sans calm demeanor slip before. But right at this moment, the older woman was anything but calm.

"You, where on earth have you been?!!" Sumire exclaimed.

"That's quite the reaction, not a warm welcome I see…"

"Such an idiot."

Uhhh...….

"Mother's sulking like a little girl," Lila said happily.

Mamoru overheard and nodded, "Right, she's always been cute when she sulks like that.

"Quiet!!"

So this guy is Tsueno Mamoru. Huan-san's father. He gave a different sort of expression than what Kiryu heard from the rumors. He noted Mamoru-san look over at him. Oh.

Kiryu felt Lilas hand grip tighter with his and he looked over at her, "Want to go back with me? Do you have time my Lila?"

Her eyes lit up at his suggestion, "Okay."
