"Um, excuse me…" Yumeko called out.

The door opened revealing a half-asleep Haruka; he stared at her dumbfounded for a moment before he nodded.

"Come."

"Harukkun, d—do we have to have the lights on?" Yumeko stammered.

"Yeah."

She heard that this process is embarra.s.sing. But she didn't know exactly it would be this distressing. She felt Haruka removing her ribbon and b.u.t.tons. It felt strange, having her skin exposed. "Uh, you're not just taking from my neck?"

"While that's the normal procedure, I have other preferences. Do you mind?"

Yumeko shook her head, he's only drinking blood right?

How naive. Haruka didn't think she would come here. This girl needs to do her research regarding hanyou's properly. Well, it would be troublesome for him if she does that. Since she's not the type to research, he doesn't have to worry, and unless she tells somebody about this. She will never know. He felt terrible for Atsuya.

He considers the guy as his precious friend. But, he wants her.

"What's wrong?" Lila asked.

"I was just thinking, how having powers is a burden…"

"You better shape up brother! I didn't come all this way to see you and neglect my Kiryu time for you to be sulky…"

The girl opposite him is his half-sister Teras.h.i.+ma Lila.

Huan laughed, "Well that's true."

"Brother, you have a girlfriend now? Why don't you introduce her…"

"Sorry, sorry. Yume-chan is busy." Huan apologized.

"Not yet.."

She didn't think the process would be like that. Haruka almost tore all her clothing off. Yumeko knew without looking at the mirror how red her face was. She escaped while he was in the bathroom, but she still has to see him today. Gah, don't think about it! Don't think about it. Think happy thoughts. Yumeko recalled the kiss she shared with on the Ferris wheel. Their first kiss. It was romantic.

"Yumeko-chan, good morning!" Selia greeted.

"Good morning."

Isn't he here yet? Yumeko looked around the room, Haruka isn't either just as she thought that someone slumped in the seat beside her. Ah.

"Morning."

"Y—yes, morning." Yumeko stammered.

He stood up, and muttered in her ear, "Is your body okay?"

"I---I'm fine."

Haruka nodded and went back to his seat. The moment he did, she watched as he immediately fell asleep. That's it? Nothing else? She was nervous and worried this whole time. But Harukkun is normal. Perhaps it wasn't anything.

Her thoughts broke off when she felt someone's lips on hers. It was a brief and a light kiss, but it was still embarra.s.sing.

"Morning," Atsuya said after he pulled away. "Ah, man, this is still embarra.s.sing…"

"Y-you moron!" Yumeko exclaimed, "Don't just do that out of nowhere."

"Uh, sorry. But today you're dressed up more than usual, and you seemed fl.u.s.tered once you saw me. So I wanted to take advantage of you.."

Yumeko hits him.

What's with that take advantage? And. Was she fl.u.s.tered?

"Yume-chan, do you want to come to my house on Sunday?"

That's true; she's never been to his place before. But his house? His house on Sunday.

As she recalled her promise with Harukkun, Yumeko paused. She made the promise with Harukkun first.

"Sorry, I'm busy on Sundays." Yumeko apologized.

"I leave for a short while only… And the procedures were practically complete. So how did it end up being changed into a maid cafe?" Yumeko asked. The teacher asked her to run errands, so she left the cla.s.sroom for a while.

At that comment, she turned and glared at him.

"Now Yume-chan, I only agreed to see you in a cute outfit…"

Harukkun opinion? She snuck a glance at him.

"Maid cafe, uniform."

His gaze flickered towards her, "Yumeko probably fits the type."

What's with that Yumeko fits the type comment? Her heart felt very restless. Stupid.
