Dream Star 203 The Message The Wind Sends Us

July 31st, 2035, London (Waters)

Lila even hired a private boat. When did she do all this stuff? It amazed Haruka when he realized it was a private, not a public one. Then again, he only trailed her that one time. Outside of her work affairs, he doesn't know what she does in her free time. Lila must have planned all this. His gaze softened, did she plan all this before they dated? Getting a private boat isn't easy; one has to reserve it.

"I want to make out…" Haruka murmured.

It's just the two of them and the workers on the boat. Not like the workers would come over unless summoned. Lila's face reddens at his words. Lila shyly nodded. "Um, can we sit down?"

"Yeah."

It surprised Haruka when Lila removed her top and laid down. What is she doing? Well, he will find out. Haruka positioned himself on top of her and licked, suck behind her ears, her neck before moving down.

"This, my taste?" Haruka murmured pointing to the girl's bra.

"Um — you said you liked this color... and.." Lila stammered.

He said that. But it didn't bother him. Seeing that Lila put in some effort for him makes him happy though. "Were only going to kiss... You didn't have to remove.."

"I—I know but um… Kissing feels better when I can feel you Haruka."

Austin Kiryu, how on earth did he deal with this girl? The amount of careless things that come out of her mouth is amazing. She renders him speechless every single time.

"Haruka, I'm embarra.s.sed."

Ah-huh, so does he stop because she's embarra.s.sed? He doesn't understand what she wants him to do when she says stuff like this.

Did he actually fall asleep in the middle of their date? d.a.m.n. Haruka looked at his surroundings. Still in the boat, but someone had moved him to one of the rooms. He groggily got up and made his way out; it was still sunny showing that he didn't sleep long.

"Haruka! You're awake."

"Yeah, sorry for--" Haruka paused seeing the fancy table filled with food.

"Ah, I don't understand! But they prepared many things when I asked for ingredients."

"You cooked?" Haruka said.

Lila nodded. He stared at her speechless for a moment, "You know you probably shocked the staff."

Lila looked at him confused.

"Hiring a private boat means you can hire their five-star cuisine too."

"Ah, but I wanted to cook for you Haruka."

It's true they didn't have much of a breakfast meal. Haruka walked over and sat down, Lila happily joined him. He gently kissed her cheek.

"I'd rather eat your cooking."

Soft and beautiful laughter escaped her lips, "Um, I know."

She does, huh?

"Haruka?"

"Marry me…" he mumbled teasingly in her ear.

Lila froze for a moment before she hits him, "Quit teasing me."

"I'm serious though if I could eat like this every day, it would be nice."

He's honestly surprised. He didn't know Lila could cook like this. Then again, even when she stays over at his place. Lila is restricted to making small meals because of his whims. So this was the first time he was eating her cooking correctly.

"Haruka, if you'd let me go grocery shopping. I'll make you this stuff anytime.."

"Wait till senbi comes here."

Lila frowned, "n.o.body has attacked me recently. I'll be fine."

Haruka shook his head. "Still too dangerous."

He can't openly protect her since they are enemies.

"I'll a.s.sign my guard to you."

"Ah?"

Right, out of all the people who are around him now. Haruka can trust that guy. After all, that guy is the one person who wasn't hired by the boss. Haruka sighed, d.a.m.n. For a lousy father who abandoned him when he was younger. He's doing a good job making it up to him by a.s.signing him such an efficient guard.

Haruka is glad that she didn't fuss about it.

After eating, Haruka watched as Lila stretched her arms and walked over to the deck. He paused, should he follow her? As Haruka debated about this, Haruka discovered the girl's gaze on him. She was looking at him with puffed cheeks showing he ought to follow.

When he made his way over, Lila hugged him.

"What is it?" Haruka murmured. He should already be used to her randomness, but his girlfriend does the strangest things.

Lila laughed, "Um, I'm pleased. So I want to know if you are as well."

"... I'm happy just surprised." Haruka murmured.

He didn't think she would prepare so well for his birthday. It's an event he's neglected this whole life after all. However, she arranged for this well.

Haruka gently caressed her hair, "I'm happy that you're enjoying yourself, about earlier. I am sorry."

She made such perfect plans for his birthday. But he destroyed it. Now she will always recall this day with bloodstained memories. Lila suddenly let go of him, "Well I was mad don't get me wrong. But it's not like it's unusual."

Has Austin Kiryu done that before with her?

"You see as I told you before, I understand it. Everyone has a seed of desire hidden inside. Hanyou's or humans, it's all the same. If somebody craves another person so badly, such situations arise. People can take it as something bad, or one can take it as a positive thing."

Haruka raised his eyebrows confused, "Positive?"

Lila smiled, "Yes.." She walked over to the railing and closed her eyes.

"You see, I know now. How much you desire, how much you love me. To the point of deprivation…you love me. "

Haruka felt his cheeks heat up. She --

"The agony felt by deprivation, I understand it all too well. But it's different now too…"

Different does she mean..Is it different with him? Whenever Lila said stuff like that, he can't help but think he's more special than Austin Kiryu.

"...Quit being stupid." Haruka stopped her from saying any more embarra.s.sing things.

Lila laughed, her gaze softened, "The wind today is nice don't you think?"

"The wind?"

He can't tell the difference.

"Ah-huh, the wind. There's a gentle breeze; perhaps it's reflecting your kindness."

Is she repeating random things? No, something about her tone seems serious.

"..."

Haruka stood beside her and closed his eyes. It's stupid, the wind being gentle or stuff like kindness that she just said. But for some reason, "Yeah.."

"This wind is filled with the kindness and warmth of those precious to an individual. It feels like I'm being embraced by the kindness of the people I left behind. The sky connects everyone no matter how far away we are from each other. One day we will meet again."

He frowned slightly, "You're lonely?"

"A little. But I don't have much time to be lonely when I'm with you. Haruka you make me happy every day, and my days are filled with such warmth. I'm getting to know everyone else too. I do want to meet Kasumi and the others as soon as possible. After all, without them, I would not have gotten this far."

Embraced by the kindness huh? Haruka repeated this to himself and wrapped his arms around her. He hugged her from the back, "Ari.."

Lila placed her hand on top of his, "Haruka, it may seem like I'm just blabbing on. But, I wanted you to see this view too."

"Yeah, thank you."
